My highest praise goes to the staff, particularly at reception. Both Srijith and Roma are very patient, kind, efficient and helpful. They were always respectfully friendly. I should mention that this was my third stay at this, and their Ulsoor location. I have reasonably high standards, so I think that says a lot.
The same goes for the restaurant. The chef is excellent. I'm often leery of menus that read like shopping lists. Too diverse, and everything seems to either, taste the same, or nothing like what it's written up. Not so here. I had a great waiter, Sankar, who could antcipate my wants. If I mentioned favorites, he always remembered. After my first week, I would just hand him the menu on my way out from breakfast, and have him recommend something for dinner.
The housekeeping staff was equally efficient, thorough, and discreet. I wouldn't hesitate to leave my toothbrush on the bathroom counter.
If you like peace and quiet, the hotel is located in a lovely residential area. However, if you need a main street with good shopping, 100 feet road is a 3 minute walk. As a solo woman traveller, I felt quite safe walking alone using sensible precautions.
If I had any criticism, it would be that sometimes the towels didn't appear clean, because it seems that some women use them to remove their make-up. While this is hardly the hotel's fault, it can be a little off-putting My only concern with going back would be that I book early enough. This hotel seems to fill up fast.
