"As a business hotel good for couples but not kids"
Perfect location for us in a quieter area of town and close to the family member working in Bangalore who we were visiting.
Staff could not be more helpful from the moment we arrived late at night with one of our bags missing - and they helped retrieve it next day while we were out sight seeing.
Service and surroundings were impeccable - and delicious food. Clearly a business hotel as the studio rooms have a slightly unusual bathroom configuration which works better for a single occupant but really lovely decor and a balcony with every room.
I recently stayed at this hotel for a few days while a friend was visiting me in Bangalore. We are both from the United States and agree that this was by far the nicest hotel we have ever stayed at and for an amazing price. The rooms were beautiful, spacious, and very clean. The bathroom was also beautiful and so was the shower. My only complaint is that the mattress on the bed was quite stiff, but the bedding and pillows were soft. The LCD TV was a good size and had many channels to offer.
As for the complimentary breakfast buffet, it was exceptional! Always something different but it offered fresh South Indian breakfast as well as some American cuisine like an omelette bar, pastries, and parsley potatoes. The head chef, Santosh, was very friendly and always made a point to ask how our food was and go out of his way to make sure we were comfortable and happy.
Everything about our stay was great and I regret only being there for 3 nights. The outside of the hotel was just as beautiful as all of the decor inside. I do wish that we could have enjoyed wifi during our stay, but it was very expensive and not worth the purchase at all (600 rupees for 24 hours).
Definitely recommend this to anyone wanting a luxury stay for a fair price.
"Nice boutique hotel, good food, great value for mo"
Nice boutique hotel, simple yet comfortable rooms, good restaurant. Although the hotel seemed to be favoured by executives, I would recommend it to couples or single travellers. Staff is very friendly and were exceptionally hospitable to us. Service in the restaurant is good, only recommendation I would make is to speed up drinks a bit. The delivery from the i-Bar took up to 20 minutes and that is a bit too long. But compliments to Bawan and the team in the restaurant. Chef's menu is an adventurous combination of flavors and the chili cocktails in particular are really good.
If I can also make a suggestion for improvement - make the pricing of transport to the airport cheaper and more affordable, 2500 is 4 times what a taxi should cost and that is prohibitive. For single female travellers or first timers to India, hotel transport is a safe option so maybe consider doing something about that. Otherwise, a great stay.
We spent over a week at this 'cool' hotel. We had requested accommodation for 3 as I was planning to have my elderly mother also stay with us. We were upgraded to a two bedroom suite and it was very spacious, well appointed and comfortable. The attention to detail was exquisite. We ate many meals there. They were able to provide food outside their menu. I wanted appams with coconut milk - done! Fruits such as chiccoos were also provided even though it was not quite the right season. Red delicious apples from Washington state, USA every day in my room was a nice touch. Rooms were clean, turn down service provided, room service was prompt and the staff were very responsive. It made care of my 90 year old mother easy. All in all worth another visit!
