“A great place for such a low price”

Some positive highlights 1) Very low price on Expedia for this quality and comfort. No other hotel match this. 2) Cheap dining for South Indians 3) Good south Indian food... not sure about northies 4) close to many places like kalasapalayam and city center. 5) Clean rooms 6) Good wifi and its free.. Fast speeds... 7) Fair price for food. Some NEGATIVE points 1) Rude front desk 2) Child labor 3) noisy surrounding - market place 4) Unsafe area - all shops close at 7 as they are auto repair shops 5) too many wine shops and pubs and some people misbehave 6) Limited car park space - In fact hardly one or 2 cars can park. 7) Some rooms were noisy - ppl drinking.. I stayed for 7+ days and hence noticed it. It was evident only on one day. May be management did not know.

“Excellent value for money”

Breakfast was purely vegetarian. It was a delicious discovery for me. Southern India breakfast. The staff were nice.

“very impressed”

We stayed in this hotel for three nights. The service and maintance of the hotel was very good. There was hot water. The noise from outside temple was toomuch to take, even in the middle of the night. May be this is their festivel time.The hotel situated in a busy area and very hard to find, the food was very good. It was not bad for the money.

“Für indische Verhältnisse sehr günstiges & sauberes Hotel, ideal, um die Stadt zu erkunden!”

Also das Hotel T.A.P.Goldcrest liegt direkt am Minerva Circle, kaum zu übersehen. Tagsüber und Abends herrscht ringsherum tüchtiges Geschäftstreiben. In unmittelbarer Nähe befinden sich Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, kleine Bars und Restaurants - ich habe dort problemlos alles mögliche probiert - und das indische Essen ist wirklich sehr gut. Außerdem sind der K R Market und der Botanische Garten per Fuß in ca. 15 Minuten erreichbar. Ich war über das Osterwochenende dort. Da war gerade viel Andrang im Hotel (Jugendliche & Kinder). Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt auf alle Fälle. Preis für ein Einzelzimmer vor Ort RS 990,-. Ich kann das Hotel für einen Kurzaufenthalt, um sich die Stadt anzuschauen, auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen.

Getting there

Vom Flughafen BLR fahren neben Taxen (RS 800,-) auch Shuttle Busse für RS 140,- (ca. 2,30 €). Diese brauchen ca. 1,5 Stunden bis direkt ins Stadtzentrum, sie fahren 24 Stunden und halten so zwiemlich überall in der Stadt, d.h. man kann bedenkenlos anreisen & auch dabei schon viel sehen.

“Hotel T.A.P.Goldcrest: hotel idéal pour un transit”

Hotel Indien, bien tenu mais qui avec les années est laissé peu à peu à l'abandon. Les chambre sont très bien, la selle de bain propre malgrès du calcaire sur les robineterie. Internet gratuit et illimité avec des ordinateurs pas très récents (mais ça dépanne bien!). Restaurant dans l'hotel où l'on mange bien... Il n'y a pas grand chose à faire dans le quartier, ideal en hotel de transit (pour 1 nuit ou 2). Il reste un bon rapport qualité/prix.
