My wife and I stayed here for 11 nights and were very pleased with the Sunset Beach Club. The builing nad the grounds are very well kept as for the beaches along the coast. Very impressed with the cleanliness, pride in ownership was evident all around.
We had a room with a kitchen so we did most of our own meals which were extremely cheap compared to Canada for foof prices. There is a supermarket located onsite and also for even more savings there is one across the street from the hotel. Both are very good.
Walking the boardwalk was great and there are a lot of things to see and shops to rummage around in all within an easy walk of the hotel.
The bed at first was a bit hard for what we are use to but it grows on you for sure.
We would stay here again and would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great place to relax while in the Malaga area.
"great all round hotel, top room with large bathroom"
plenty off choice at meal times.staff were fantastic.the wife had her phone stolen at a bar in the marina.when we got back to the hotel we told the lady on the reception , she went that extra bit to help and sought things out for us when really she didn't have to..i think she should be awarded something .to be honest all the staff were great as well . .
We as a family of 10 people of varying ages stayed at this hotel for 12days in October Our experience was that of being very happy and satisfied with our stay. The hotel staff without exception couldn't do enough for us, even when something in our room was broken it was repaired very quickly. The activities staff were exceptional and had us participating in sports never before attempted. The food was very good with a selection which suited everyone of us and plenty of it even although at times the restaurant was very busy. The pianist in the dining room each evening playing on the grand piano was just the icing on the cake after a hard day at the pool There seemed to be a continual maintainance programme going on that when walls were marked with guests suitcases they were painted immediately. Returning sooner rather than later.
This was one of my finest hotel experiences EVER and we stay 260 nights a year in hotels. The room is perfect with a balcony overlooking the Meditteranean Sea however the breakfast in the morning for the little cost she charges is mind boggling. Is is the BEST breakfast we have ever eaten. We cancelled our last night of our trip somewhere else and are driving 20km out of our way to stay here again the last night of our trip. I could live here! In fairness I must give a slight warning that parking at the hotel and in the Pueblo below (2 block walk) is a challenge. A small challenge worth the reward. Eat at the restaurant bar for dinner in the pueblo that has black awnings and a pig in the logo. Can't remember the name. Mixed salad for next to nothing is a full meal and loaded with tuna fish. My chicken was a heaping plate. very inexpensive and great food and service.
We stayed once again at la fonda appartments and loved it, right in the middle of the
small village of Pueblo Benalmadena, lovely squares with fountains, great places to
eat, all different prices, plenty to see and do, buses every 20 mins and cheap. Would
recommend couples only as 10mins by bus to beach and nothing for children to do
in the village.
We hope to go again next year and meet more friends locally and from abroad.
We were very impressed with the.hotel, our suite was perfect. Food choice was very good, staff very friendly. Excellent hotel if you have children, everything catered for. Shuttle bus ran constantly up and down the hill 2 Beach World. The only negative for us, nothing else around. At least 15/20 mins drive to centre of Benelmedina or Fuengorola, 20 mins walk 2 station. No where 2 walk, hills very steep. About 15min walk 2 the beach from Beach World.
