My wife and I stayed at the Magnolia for two nights over Thanksgiving. The staff, especially in the bar, was helpful and friendly. My brother and his wife and son stayed in one of the suites, which was very nice and comfortable.
My boyfriend and I spent a Friday night getaway here to celebrate Christmas. I picked this hotel because of location and price--I wasn't too picky but this exceeded my expectations. Upon check in, I had a random upgrade to my reservation so I was given free cheesecake and a bottle (yes a whole bottle!) of wine. Then I was very pleased with the views from my 7th floor king bed room. The decor in the room was modern and stylish and very spacious with a living room couch area and a bedroom area. Situated at a great location in Old Market, we were able to easily walk to dinner and all the shops. Continental breakfast was free and delicious the next morning and a leisurely noon check out time made for no rush. Overall, it was a short but very sweet experience!

Shuttle drivers prompt, very nice, personable, helpful. Front desk very courteous, helpful. The night clerk even loaned me his gloves because the weather had dropped about 40 degrees from the time I checked in till the time I was headed out to meet up with a friend.
We had a wonderful time at hotel and felt like they treated us like there was no other customer. Very nice in every way. We were going to party in Old market so we parked and walked from this hotel. Very nice.
