This hotel was better that what I expected. Our room was nice with a beautiful fireplace. If there is one thing that could be improved is to put standard size pillows on the beds. I found the pillows small for adults.

Check in was quick and easy. Staff was friendly and informative. Breakfast was a good mix of hot and cold choices. All in all, a good place to get away in March, during the off-season.

It was quiet. Couple things I don’t think was right - cigarette butt inside our room likely tracked in as there was an ash tray on the ledge outside. - at breakfast we were told the chef was not in and if we wanted anything cooked we’d have to cook our own.

We liked the quiet location of the property. A highlight was the art gallery on the property with a beautiful sculpture garden. Also the complimentary breakfast was a surprise that it was a full breakfast. Of course we enjoyed the complimentary wine tasting .
