“A useful hotel for business or leisure”

The hotel was ok and I have stayed there before. However, on this trip I did not find the staff very friendly. The quality of the breakfast was very good.

“Dissapointed an understatement”

Our first visit many years ago was great so a lot was expected To say we were disssapointed woulld be an understatement.. The housekeeping was almost non existent. Our room was not hoovered or dusted sheets unchanged in the five days we were there. Even had to ask for fresh towels.The bin was emptied though! The reception desk always seemed undermanned as sighing weary travellers waited to check in.

“Functional rather than Comfortable”

Having previously stayed at Jury's Inn in Dublin I was expecting more luxury than was provided by this hotel. It is clean and the staff were pleasant. The car parking is in a public car park round the corner at a cost, you can park on the street but need to look at the times. Breakfast was standard buffet breakfast fare that had been sitting for a short while. However there was no air conditioning in the room and having the window open meant putting up with a lot of traffic noise late into the night - past midnight - and early in the morning from 06:00. We were left without tea bags one day and asked for some but they never turned up. On the last night the room was cleaned but only one towel was left. When we realised the next morning it was too late to ask for another. I complained to reception when checking out and they didn't charge the internet connection fees as compensation. We are unlikely to use this hotel again for anything other than a very quick visit when we were using it only for an overnight sleep. Having said that the location is superb being close to the shops, the opera house and Windsor Park. Would have been better if Belfast was open on a Sunday morning but different cities have different local customs.

“Reasonable Value in the Centre of Belfast”

Right in the heart of the city. Decor a little tired, front desk a little disorganised but that's the only downsides. Good room - great beds - fantastic buffet breakfast

“Close to Bus depot”

This was a great place to stay when you aaare taking the bus from Europa Bus station. It was also close to other attractions such as Crown Bar, etc The food in the bar/restaurant was good and reasonably priced. Enjoyed the stay.

“Belfast Jury's”

Good location. Room clean and comfortable.

Area recommendations

Take the city tour, the narrated one. Make sure to read up about the the history of The Troubles beforehand. The tour will make a much more significant connection if you know the recent history of Belfast.

“Close to everything”

Very happy we chose this hotel. Only two blocks from City Hall and shops, 2 blocks from the bus station, 2 doors down from the Opera House and right down the street is the Crown Liquor Bar...great place to eat. Service was nice, breakfast was very good, sausage, ham,eggs both fried and scrambled, toast, croissants, juice, coffee, cereal, fruit, yogurt. The Paddywagon tour we were on picked us up in front of the Europa Hotel which is 4 doors down. The hotel was nicely furnished, clean, beds great, pillows good, not noisy even though our room faced the street, nice clean bathroom. Americans be aware that coffeemaker means hot water + instant coffee at all 4 hotels we stayed at while in Ireland and Scotland. There was NO cigarette smell which is the main reason we passed up a couple of other less priced hotels.

Area recommendations

We chose this area because we were traveling by bus and the station was just a block away and most of the sights were within walking distance of the hotel.
