Good location for a short stay in Belfast

Posted 29-Jul-2015
Pros: Staff and location
Cons: Add soft door catches to hotel bedroom doors as slamming is annoying.
Location: Great shopping and recommend using the metro service to get around to the different sight seeing/places of interest.
Decent hotel just need to beware of selfish guests who slam doors and are noisy in early hours of the morning.

Tall ships

Hotel was a good central location, though we did feel a little intimidated by groups of men and women sitting on the floor at the corner of the road next to the hotel getting drunk from teatime onwards, I don't know if this was the norm or just because Saturday night? Hotel staff attentive and helpful.

Belfast Ibis

Late arrival after a retireal doo. Check in staff were organised as paid in advance. Fast efficient check in. Room clean and well presented although space. I was there at 2 am and left at 8 am. Did exactly what it said on the tin, cheap and cheerful.

yhdistetty loma- ja työmatka, Belfast oli hyvin siisti kaupunki ja siellä oli hyvän näköisiä taloja.

Satisfactory stay

Posted 24-Apr-2015 on Hotels
My stay was satisfactory. The room was clean and reasonably comfortable. The service was also satisfactory except that, when I asked for directions to catch a bus to the Parliament Buildings at Stormont, the reception is incorrectly directed me to the main bus station near the Europa Hotel. I did not take any meals at the hotel.

Reasonable City Centre Hotel

Posted 15-Apr-2015 on Hotels
Comfortable hotel, better breakfast then I was expecting for a lower cost hotel. There is a good deal for car parking, its free Monday to Thursday and £6.00 per night at the weekend. (but make sure that you go in the "City" car park for the deal.

Excellent Hotel very close to the City.

Posted 13-Apr-2015
Pros: The friendlyness of the staff, nothing was to much trouble they genuinely went out of their way to make my stay an enjoyable one.
Cons: Please dont let the decor deterriorate, hotel is beginning to look a little tired.
Location: So close to the city centre, waterfont area, and city hall.
On an early flight so i arrived at the hotel earlier than the "booking in time". The hotel was very accomadating suggesting i leave my bag in the baggage room and personal effects in their safe. Great start, i then proceeded into the city only a short walk of about 500m.

Right in the heart of the city

Posted 10-Apr-2015
Pros: The staff were very helpful and friendly.
Cons: Bedside tables would be handy.
Location: Easy to walk into the centre with lots to see and do.
Very handy for the city, and everything was within easy walking distance. We were lucky and on the top floor with outstanding views over the city, but I wouldn't want to be on a lower floor with no view of the city. The area immediately around the hotel was a bit dodgy in the evening with people coming out of the pubs.
