“Not bad & fair experience”
They should be more honest and clear in their promises to the guests, not say something then delivering something. Also, they should be helpful and cooperative to the guests requests. The hotel still needs more renovation.
“Seemed walking into a military camp”
Too many guys and Taxi drivers standing in front of the Hotel. They look at people walking by. The security guys act like a military zone asking questions of people coming in. My fiance came to the Hotel and the security questiioned here as somebody invading his house and took her ID to checkup on her. They should have a computerized system in front of the hotel to make sure for guest 's name instead of doing a military questioning.

“Really it is a good hotel in comparison to ohers in the same rank”

“Good price”
nice hotel comparing to price.location and historical envirment is the best thing in this hotel
“Excellent hotel at great price”
I am not sure where any remotely negative reviews of the Bristol have come from. It was one of the cheapest hotels that came up in my search on Expedia, and I had read some comments that rooms were not in great condition and beds were old and broken. I chose it partly because of the price and partly because it didn't look too far from the sea front and was not expecting too much in the way of comfort in the room. What I found was a room something akin to Hiltons I have seen in London, with no luxuries in particular but large, clean and comfortable rooms. The location was ideal for me, around a 10 to 15 minute walk to the Corniche, 2 or 3 minutes from the shops and bars in and around Hamra. The nightlife of Gemmayze and Achrafieh is a short taxi ride or 30 minute walk away also. If you want a luxury hotel in Beirut with its own beach club then you will have to pay a good deal more and maybe the Bristol is not for you but if you want somewhere well located, clean and comfortable, it is ideal. I had read some comments about noise, yet I heard nothing bar the call to prayer. Most interesting feature is the toilet with jet of water, dryer and heated seat! Staff are incredibly helpful and will arrange trips and give any advice on most things you would need to know.
“Pleasantly Impressed”
We got a great deal on Expedia so it was well worth it even though it is more like a high-end 4 star hotel, not a 5 star hotel. Breakfast and internet were not included in our deal. Nice walking location to shopping and cafes. No view, only buildings but we went site seeing during the day. Our first room was looking into the construction of the building next door with loud driling in the morning and construction men practically looking into our room but the hotel quickly moved us when we asked.
“IBRAHIM TARABZOUNI”
It was a great stay, staff very friendly Delicious breakfast , excellent location. Only on concern Shower was below average
“Nice location, older feel but nicely renovated rooms”
