The hotel itself was fine, clean, and in a convenient area. However, there were problems with service. First, the maid; we were in the room when she came, so we asked her to come back later or just not service the room. She insisted on continuing and cleaning while we were there. She blocked the door with her cart so we couldn't get out, too! It was awkward, and inconvenient. The much bigger problem was with desk staff. We asked them to call a cab to take us to the train station. They said there were no cabs available - at 2:30 on a weekday! - because of 1 block of traffic a few blocks away. They didn't seem to want to call anyone except their buddy to drive us. They called a Didi (Chinese Uber), who flaked, then another. They just kept saying "no, take the subway!" and rolled their eyes when we pointed out that, with our big bags and the lack of any escalators/elevators, we couldn't take the subway. The kicker? If we'd just gone outside to get the cabs ourselves, there were at least 6 who offered to take us, but by then they'd made us pay for the MIA Didi driver instead. The whole thing was really unnecessary and unprofessional.
