“A Good Hotel”
A Very Good Hotel and Good Service from the Staff
“Nice Hotel-Location not the best”
Pros -Western style service -Staff speaks English -attentive to needs Cons -Location -Bad smell (maybe sewage, mold) 6 th floor room -No complimentary internet -35 mins walk to subway station

Really enjoyed our stay here, the staff couldn't have been more helpful. particularly David the Concierge. It was a little out of the way, which made it hard at rush hour to get a cab back, but other than that no complaints at all 1
“March Break in Beijing”
We took our sons (ages 10 and 8) to Beijing for March school break. The hotel was as expected from reading reviews. The basics were sound: large enough room for 4 to be comfortable, clean and kept clean, beds comfortable and all basic facilities working well. The hotel is less than new, but well-maintained. In spite of the great sights to see, the boys very much and very often enjoyed the pool (an indoor pool is a "must" for them). We were in Beijing 3 years earlier and knew our way around, but still received useful advice (e.g. when it was better to take the subway than a taxi because of heavy traffic). Concierge staff were all helpful. They arranged taxi's for longer trips (e.g. Great Wall, Ming Tombs) that were of good quality and had pleasant drivers. Location is the only downside. Trips back to the hotel often required use of our cell phone to call the hotel and get directions. The map on the card provided by the hotel covers a very small local area and isn't very useful when you get out a bit further. The plus side of the location is the typical mid-city neighbourhood surrounding the hotel. We enjoyed getting out and wandering around to see people going about ordinary day-to-day life. We went to several restaurants we stumbled upon, bought fresh fruit and other snacks from small shops and larger supermarkets, and even did some shopping for basic clothing (shoes, warmer jackets, etc.). It was a very safe area and and we were never bothered by anyone.
“Very impressed”
I stayed at this Hotel in the later part of the month of May.A very warm welkome from the staff,the room was very clean ,the beds are comfortable since I like a firmer mattres.The breakfast buffet was more then I had expected,since it was included in the price of the room.My Daughter had lost her Passport,and the person from customer services his name is Storm,was very helpful in negotiating with the Autorities,on the third day she had her Passport and Visa.So i would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wil stay in Beijing. Thank you Storm,from my Daughter and me. You know who we are.
“Extremely warm welcome!!!”
A very good experience with the extremely warm welcome from the front desk; especially Helen, she made us feel like a friend have not seen for a long time. The staffs at the hotel were also extremely helpful; especially the David (gave us a lot of useful tour information and also helped us to find a good taxis driver to the airport) & Peter (helped us to keep the Beijing roasted duck in the freezer). The bed is a bit too hard. The room is a bit too hot and we were unable to change the temperature in mid April, they had a central heat. After we opened the window, it's much better .The room is very clean. Overall we really enjoyed our 4 nights stay in this hotel.
“Excellent personnel”
Personnel très attentioné et serviable. Chambre donnée à 8h du matin sans aucun problème. Prêt de parapluie, aide pour commander les taxis au départ de l'hotel. Le reste est normal pour un hotel de la gamme. Hotel un peu loin du centre ville à pied, mais avec 2eur de taxi, on y est. Ca ne doit donc pas être un frein.
