Great location, walking distance to local restaurants, train station, MK Theatre, Shopping Centre - ideal location!!!!

“MK Ramada”
Milton Keynes is 35 minutes from Euston on Virgin trains and the MK shopping centre second only to London in the UK. The Ramada is within easy walking distance of both and ridiculously good value at weekends. Plenty of places to walk to,eat at and be entertained.

Value for money was very good, but I'd save up a bit more and get a better hotel next time.
“Centrally sited Hotel”
This Hotel has an excellent position and offers good rooms which are of a modern and interesting design. Responsive staff. I have stayed many times and will likely do so again.
“perfect location”
This modern hotel is located at The Hub which has a great variety of restaurants and watering holes. I can imagine in the Summer the atmosphere is very good and you can walk to the centre of MK in about 10 minutes. Remember MK is spread out so dont expext a pub crawl but The Hub has enough in places.
“Good Clean Modern Hotel”
The hotel was everything I would expect from a modern budget type hotel. I used it only for B & B purposes. I waloked up from Milton Keynes Central Station and uphill or the way in the snow was a bit of a drag.
“A budget hotel in a central location without the shortcomings of budget hotel”
I have now stayed in this hotel several times when travelling on business. This is always my first choice hotel when staying in Milton Keynes. The room is clean, modern and the beds are comfortable. They charge quite a lot for internet (I think £11.99 per day - Oct 09), which I find a lot, however, charging for those extras allows them to keep the room rate low. I have never eaten in the hotel but the bar/restaurant area looks smart. The hotel has a large number of restaurants to pick from right outside in a square, named The Hub. Zizzi, Cafe Rouge, Gourmet Burger Kitchen, HaHa Bar and Lock Fyne to name only some of them. The hotel doesn't have a gym, but for £5 and under 5 minutes walk away you can get an all day guest pass to Banatyne's health club, which is very worth it. I will be going back.
“Excellent location but the room let it down”
This hotel is brilliantly located as there are loads of restaurants behind it and the Xscape centre, The Centre shopping mall and the train station are all within easy walking distance. The room was mostly clean, except for a stain on the sofa-bed (which we did not need to use, otherwise we would have complained!). We didn't sleep well at all, due to either the old looking mattress or the room being too hot & cold because the bed cover was too dense. We would have liked some biscuits with the tea & coffee that were in the room! Also, there was no toothpaste in the room, but luckily I'd read they don't provide this and took my own! The price is good for the room, but I would try somewhere else next time.
