Every effort has been made to preserve and restore the original ambience and this is reflected in the attention to detail with which we have decorated and furnished each individual room and suite.
The Mansion House offers a selection of rooms and luxurious suites, sometimes featuring silk lined and panelled walls, marble fireplaces and ornately decorated ceilings. The Parkland wing, a short walk from the Mansion House, has 38 air-conditioned bedrooms and suites, each equipped with flat-screen LCD television and broadband. The Club House, built into the Grade II* listed Robert Adams stables which also houses the Spa, comprises 12 bedrooms with oak beams and vaulted ceilings. Similarly, The Flower Garden wing, adjacent to the Spa, offers another 59 air-conditioned bedrooms and suites. Nearly all of the rooms also afford stunning views of the gardens and rolling parkland beyond.
Deluxe Bedrooms are situated in the Parkland, Flower Garden and Club House with views of the surrounding parkland. Average size approx: 9.3m x4.5m.
Executive Bedrooms - are more spacious than Deluxe Rooms, with a 6ft double or twin beds as well as a sofa bed for a child. Executive rooms are situated in the Parkland, Flower Garden and Club House. Average size approx: 9.7m x 4.5m.
All rooms are served by 24 hour room service.

The Wernher Restaurant
For exquisite fine dining there can be few more spectacular settings than the Wernher Restaurant, named after one of Luton Hoo's most distinguished former owners. This part of the Mansion House was extensively remodelled in the early 20th century by the architects of the Ritz Hotel in London. It's exotic marble panelwork and richly coloured fabrics are reminiscent of the Palace of Versailles. Open for Lunch - Wednesday - Saturday 12.30pm - 2pm. For Dinner - Wednesday - Friday 7pm - 10pm, Saturday - 6.30pm - 10.30pm and on Sunday an All Day Lunch is served from 1pm-9pm. Please note that gentlemen are requested to wear a jacket or tie for dinner. Please also note that all dinner reservations should be made prior to your arrival to avoid disappointment.
The Adam's Brasserie
Housed within the historic Stables building, designed by the distinguished 18th century architect Robert Adams, is the Adam's Brasserie, offering a slightly more informal style of dining compared to The Wernher Restaurant. The décor of Adam's Brasserie is bright and contemporary; its walls lined with stills from many films and TV shows which have been shot on location at Luton Hoo. Open - Monday - Saturday from 12pm - 3pm & 6pm - 10pm and Sunday - 12.30pm - 5pm. Please note that all dinner reservations should be made prior to your arrival to avoid disappointment.
The 19th Bar
This country club themed restaurant is designed with leisure guests in mind and provides a relaxed and comfortable dining option. For those looking for swift and casual snacks throughout the day, The 19th offers everything from hot drinks, to light salads and warming soups. The 19th Opening Times: Weekdays from 9:30am - 6pm and at the weekends from 9.30am - 7.00pm. The 19th Menu is available from 12 - 6pm and 7pm at weekends.

“Definitely warrants its 5 Star rating”
Fantastic hotel with beautiful grounds. Spa excellent. Food in Brazzerie wasexcellent as was service. Would recommend as perfect venue, not far to travel from home (Bushey).
“Good, but some gotchas”
We were slightly disappointed that despite booking a Mansion House room, were actually in the old stable block complex several hundred yards away. I'm not sure if the error in location is the fault of the Hoo or Expedia who I booked through, but I would suggest you call and check if it matters to you. The next disappointment is that at 2pm on the day we could not get into the main restaurant - again a schoolboy error on my part but it never occurred to me that as a resident we wouldn't be able to dine there. Having said that the meal in the Bistro was still perfectly enjoyable - although my wife's steak was dry and overcooked, when she'd specifically ordered rare, and the G&T's were an expensive £10 each (doubles without asking). We went to the main house for drinks. My comment here would be the background music was completely at odds with the place - as it was when we had coffee the next morning. Musaaac or lift music - just not required and lowered the tone in my humble opinion!! All in all we found all the staff most friendly and helpful, and as an aside the Land Rover Experience was a great day out too. Luton airport is very close by - so useful if you are heading to or from there, but expect a bit of plane noise at night and early in the morning. Grounds are lovely, so spare some time for a wander if the weather permits. So the tip would be to check you are in the mansion house, and book early for the main restaurant....
“Lovely hotel but food a bit pricy”
Hotel was lovely and price excellent considering hotel and its amazing grounds... but beware the food is very expensive even for a 5 star hotel
