“Good for the Price”

It was clean and the Reception staff were efficient and friendly. Breakfast was satisfactory and the eating area was clean, bright and spacious. No complaints really.

“Excellent!!”

Warm genuine welcome from staff. One of the friendliest check-ins I have experienced. Our football team were playing a match which was on Sky and when we asked at check-in where we could go locally to watch it she said she would put it on in reception as the weather outside was awful and she even turned down the background music for us!! Would definitely stay there again especially if needed to catch an early morning train to London.

“Good value for money”

Good hotel with spaceous rooms. Basic room facilities. Limited parking spaces. The hotel management should try to make agreement from the nearby parking facilities providers to allow hotel customers to be able to park on their premises till checkout time. Some of the reception staffs need further training to be able to improve their welcomeing attitude, body language, providing information about the hotel facilities and should be more helpful to customers.

“Hotel fine - shame about the staff!”

You can't fault the location if you wish to be within walking distance of the town but the attitude of the staff lets the hotel down. It was very obvious that they were of the opinion that the hotel would run far better if it wasn't for the guests. Not enough parking spaces and not the best of locations to street park a decent car on a Saturday night. Hotel itself very new and typical of a Holiday Inn express. Same miserable attitude from staff at breakfast and check out so perhaps it's in the job description?

“Cheap and convenient”

Excellent hotel - very handy for the train station and buses, but quiet rooms and good facilities. Many thanks - hope to come back soon!
