“Good enough to go back again.”

Other than the funky smell in our room I was quite satisfied. The beds were very comfortable , the A/C worked and the coffee downstairs in the morning was a blessing. The hotel was only 4 miles from our daily destination and the hotel clerk was friendly and helpful.

“I did not like it at all.”

The bath room was falling apart,the towels and wash clothes had holds in them,and the beds were like rocks to sleep on.

“just ok”

Super 8 motel was just ok basic accomodations, not flithy but the amenites (the fridge and microwave) were old and did not look clean The shower/ tub was clean but stained. The tv was also old and in an oversized TV armoire. The front desk was always chatting on the phone and had us waiting on 2 occasions and did not seemed bothered that I knew it was a personal conversation, then when they did acknowledge me she put the phone on her shoulder and assisted me

“Worth what We Paid”

WE enjoyed the area...the hotel was a wonderful price for the use...It was clean and the staff was very courteous..We basically did the graduation and toured all of the area....boat rides, horse and carriage rides...the only problem was the rain...but our stay at the Super 8 was wonderful...quiet, restful

Area recommendations

I would recommend the down town area for tourists..Lots of shopping, very "artsie"...We enjoyed the views...courteous., kind people..Climb the Lighthouse on Hunting Island...terrific!!! The neighborhood for the hotel was..in the less busy part of town...quiet..the weekend we were there....Overall a good experience with the area...

“Perfect! Could Not Ask for More:)”

Perfect place to stay! Front desk was super friendly, breakfast was just right, and room was nice and clean......plus! beds were extra comfy:) I would def stay here again!

“excellant place to stay”

My trip was for my daughters marine graduation. The hotels location was very close to Paris Island that it was easy to drive there and back. Also with the long time of traveling the hotel was always a good place to relax. It also had all the ammenities that you would need in traveling. The room had a blow dryer, iron board, iron, microwave, and fridge. the place was clean and the rooms were clean and comfortable. And in the evening when we went to dine we had many options but the ones I would recommend would be Mizu, a japanese resteraunt, and DockSide, a sea food resteraunt. Some good outside areas to have fun and enjoy would be like Downtown.

Outdoors or beach

The outdoor areas would be Downtown and the Hunting Island Beach. In Downtown they had many good resteraunts and nice areas to just sit down and relax with a wonderful waterfront park. lots of antique shops. The Hunting Island Beach was nice and shady and is good for a relxaing picnic, must climb the lighthouse.

“Great for the price!”

Nothing fancy; but hey, it's a Super 8. The room was recently updated, clean, smelled good and comfortable. The staff were very friendly. I booked this hotel for the price with the idea that we could "rough-it" in a cheap motel for a couple days. We were pleasantly surprised. We will stay here again. (btw - the bed was great! "Must-have-been-new" pillow top mattress with good pillows.)

“Desparately needs rennovation”

Spent five nights at this hotel. I could not sleep on the mattress and ended up sleeping on the loveseat in the room. Wife found the mattress comfortable though. Wife saw a coackroach in the bathroom. Only were there to sleep, so all considered, it was OK, but hotel desparately needs rennovation. Were visiting daughter's family at Parris Island.
