“Been there before”
We've stayed at this hotel before and love it. The location is great. The only concern I have with the hotel is that their AC unit is noisy at times.
“Absolutely amazing!”
I was in town for a graduation and reluctantly needed to book at City Loft, my family was at a different hotel 5 miles away. They dropped me off, looked at my room, and checked into their hotel. 15 minutes later they called me to see if there was any room at City Loft. They had to pay for a night at the other hotel but stayed in another room at City Loft. That should tell you all you need to know. Down town is beautiful with superb restaurants 100 feet away. Awesome service too.
“Great location, interesting, comfortable hotel!”
An update of an old motor lodge or hotel, the rooms were small but well done and comfortable with a great bed and soft linens. LCD TV's in the room and the bathroom (nice touch!), clean and roomy bathroom with separate soaking tub and shower. The location was perfect within easy walking distance of everything in Beaufort and near several nice restaurants. Coffee shop with baked goods in the building was also a bonus. The staff were very friendly as well. We enjoyed this hotel very much!
“Absolutely Wonderful!”
OK, so i have never been to Beaufort, We planned to visit Hilton Head, but my hunny knows I'm a STICKLER for hotel rooms. Well, i wanted City Lofts and I'm pleased i stayed there. From Charlotte at the front desk, to free coffee and sugar cookies! Then, the room was WONDERFUL. The room smelled great, the bed comfy, the flat screen tv in the room and the bathroom, then the SOAKING TUB, and roomy shower. His and Her robes, and great quality towels. I can keep going, but you have to see for yourself. I love City Lofts and my hunny and I decided that we will visit once a year, just to stay at this HOME away from HOME. The shops, restaurants, PEACE AND QUIET, and the water all ADDED to the ambiance and made our trip very relaxing. We even drove to Hilton Head to shop. Thanks City Lofts for making our stay so wonderful! See you next year!
“It was just a unique & awesome experience.”
When you drive up you say 'Crap what did I do????' by the time you get checked in and get an overview you say 'Hmm, this is interesting' by the time you see your room you say 'Yeah, this is great!' by the time you leave you say 'We should have booked another night!' The truly unique rooms, the location is just perfect the service (from Charlotte) was just first class. It makes you laugh thinking about any other hotel could match the experience.

We cannot say enough good! This place has it all, style, location and great people there to be of help! You cannot go wrong! We will be back and hopefully very soon!
“Pris and Cons”
Great staff, very accommodaating, quick to resolve any issues. Noise from the busy street and parking lot can be an issue. Also hearing footfalls and plumbing from second story.
“Would love to go back soon!”
The only negative was the amount of parking. On Saturday night we came in late from spending the day at the beach and there was no parking in the Hotel lot. We had to park down the street in an unlit parking lot. There were no problems the next morning when we went to get the car. I love this Hotel and would saty in it again. Thank you City Hotel for a wonderful weekend!
