This hotel is a quick taxi from the train station and walking distance to shopping and restaurants. The largest room, I've seen in France for this price and VERY clean, modern ... I now look for NOVOTELS when searching for hotels abroad.
bilingual, knowledgeable, helpful staff, great location, breakfast not great but really nice people, cute building and very acceptable accommodation for the price. Room was a good size, quiet, no elevator and they carried our bags up and down for us without us asking. They really made sure we were looked after. Well done.

What a great place to stay! The staff was very nice, the property was beautiful and clean. We were on a 10 day trip around Europe and this room was by far the largest room we stayed in. We ate breakfast on site and it was superb. We utilized the hot tub/sauna on the property - great space with a view overlooking the French countryside and the rest of the property. Very clean place. I would not recommend this as a place for kids. There was a family staying down the hall from us and we could hear the baby crying during the night. The only real negative that I would say is that the shower size was too small. I couldn't bend down and shave my legs inside the shower (and I have an average size frame).

The hotel staff was very kind and helpful, we really enjoyed our stay. Some of the other reviews on Trip Advisor were complaining about a noisy street, it didnt feel that way to us at all, I dont know where they come from, but we found Bayeux to be very nice and quiet generally... even for an August stay.

If you're looking for a place to stay on the cheap to visit the area, this place will fit the bill. There's nothing overly amazing about it, but it's tidy and clean. There's no good air floor or air conditioning so be sure you don't mind the heat!
Situated 9 kilometres from the English Channel, Bayeux survived the Battle of Normandy largely intact, retaining the look of a traditional Normandy town. Its most famous attraction is the Bayeux tapestry, a 70-metre embroidered length of cloth depicting the 1066 Norman conquest of England. The tapestry, listed on UNESCO’s Memory of the World Register, is displayed in a museum in the town centre.
