“Good for the price”

Staff is very friendly and helpful. The room was "worn" but not dirty. Bed was good enough for one night. We didn't expect anything fancy for the price we paid, and it met our expectations. Would recommend to anyone just looking for a decent room for a low price.

“You get what you pay for...”

It was a basic room...large, refrigerator, comfortable bed. However, I had requested a nonsmoking room, and the room reeked of smoke. I had to wash all my clothes when I got home, because they had absorbed the smell after only 15 hours. Breakfast was minimal...juice, coffee, cereal, danish.

We had a lovely dinner with wonderful service at The Sycamore Inn.

“Will do in A pench”

The quality of the room was ok, but not the three star rating that was give in the review that I read. It was clean and conservitive. Breakfast was limited but ok. This room would do in a pench. Art

“adequate”

Our experience at Bay St. Louis Knights Inn was adequate for our short stay. The staff was cordial and helpful. The room was clean, but slightly dingy. The continnental breakfast area was to small, but the location and price range suited our purposes for a one-night stay to see THE CRUSIN THE COAST activities, which we enjoyed very much.

“Great night in Bay ST. Louis”

The hotel was convient and very well maintained. There was nothing wrong with anything about it. I would definately stay there again.

“alright”

Modest hotel, clean, breakfast was poor. biggest problem was the noise from people above us.

Area recommendations

Hotel is close to the area's medical complex and two casinos. The beach is 10-15 minute car trip.

“It served the purpose”

We pulled the covers back on both beds and found hairs. It didn't appear that the sheets had been changed since the last visitors.

“Nice motel and quite convenient”

The check-in was pleasant and quick. We had a room on the second floor in the middle and there are only stairs on the two opposite sides of the motel, so this was a little inconvenient. It appears that the motel has just recently remodeled and the appearance of the room was very clean and comfortable. We had a do not disturb sign on our door, but, the housekeepers still knocked on our door every morning to ask if we needed anything and was really annoying. Isn't that why you put a do not disturb sign out? The only complaint of our room is that there was tacks sticking up in the door threshold of the bathroom and my kids kept stepping on them and injuring themselves so I had to put a towel down to remind them not to step on it. Overall, the stay was pretty nice. The motel is right next to a Wendy's and across the street from the hospital. It is also in the center of town and convenient to all areas of the city.

Area recommendations

The only major shopping in this area is the Walmart. It is the only grocery store in the area. Unless you are into the Casino's (there are two in this town) there is not a lot for children to do unless you want to take them to the beach. Being that this city was the where the eye of Katrina passed, I think that the city is beginning to recover and I am sure eventually the area will grow. The people here are very courteous and friendly with smiles. There are several parks to take the children, but, they are small.

“Nice place, great rates, convenient location”

It's nothing fancy but, if you are looking for a nice room at an affordable price this could be the place. It's not on the beach but, it's not too far away either. The rooms have everything you need, but nothing extra. I would stay there again.

“Great place to stay but we just didnt get lucky enough to have a quiet stay the second night!!”

The hotel was nice. The room was nice. I wish there had been a pool. The first night was good the bed slept good, but the second night very noisy and the guy at the front desk said that he could not do anything about what is going on in their room. So we left and stayed somewhere else! Would stay here again because the price is right! And really if you think about it, you get what you pay for!

Its really not a bad price! its in the middle of new orleans and biloxi so very convienent in the middle place!
