Property is huge, requiring you to walk long distances without any real direction. The carts that come to pick you up also dont come around often so you are left to walk some miles to your destination. Pools are overcrowded with children tripping you and staff. Front desk staff wont provide you with a printed or emailed receipt after check out. Over all, just skip this resort.

We traveled in April with young children. The facilities are amazing, the resort offers a lot of activities and is exceptionally equipped with swimming pools. However we found the rooms not clean and the staff not very responsive generally. Also dining options were limited, restaurants offered the same menu every day. We had an incident in our room which required linen changing, we advised the staff however they didn’t bother resolving the problem. It was very windy every day, which meant we couldn’t enjoy the sea, especially with young children. We however made the most of the amazing swimming pools. All in all I recommend Punta Cana for families with young children but not such large resort like Hard Rock.

So I’ll start like this the hotel and all you get it’s amazing and great! The only problem I have with this hotel is the salesman that trying to sale you the membership and it’s all of them from the second you arrived they bother you to the mornings they will call you at 7-7:30 AM to make sure you will come to hear what they have.. they will push you anytime they can while you came to hear what they have which is ok… but when you do check out they will bother you again and tell you that you have time until your flight come hear what we have to offer you or I’ll come seat with you outside until you’re waiting’s for your taxi to leave… Anyway the overall was amazing this is the only problem we had!!

Enjoyed our stay. Highly recommend the golf cart. You don’t have to wait on the shuttle and could easily get around. It was fun in the evening to just ride around the property. The food was ok, but some restaurants were much better than others. Toro, Los Galos, Ciao Trattoria and Syached were our favorites. The buffets are like all the same to me, mediocre at best. The vacation plan are who you book the golf cart and transportation. Very helpful, but are on you to purchase their vacation memberships which have mixed reviews. If you don’t mind doing a 90 minute breakfast while they try to sell you the membership then they give nice perks like a free golf cart rental, massages, etc. All in all we loved it and we will go again! Lots of fun and a beautiful beach!

I was sooooo disappointed with Hard Rock Cafe. Me & my husband booked a trip and was not able to make it due to our flights being cancelled same day. When reaching out to the hotel, they did not want to refund which was okay BUT I was shocked that they also did not let us rebook at least with a fee or anything. I wasted 1800 on a stay I never got to enjoy. Their policy on refunds and changing reservations says to call them. So I really didn’t understand why they were not accommodating at all. Although our flights being canceled wasn’t their fault, I just knew I could at least count on them to help us get rebooked Service

I liked the availability of most everything on the property. I thought the On Tour transportation was a bit confusing. I arrived in Terminal B, but had to be picked up at Terminal A.

Lots of entertainment options though some not included like mini putt or bowling should be. Entertainment at night is better than most. Cockroach in room so had to move. That part was not fun.

This was our first time at an all inclusive resort. The staff at the Hard Rock were friendly and very helpful. The pools and beach were amazing. We didn’t like that the lines for drinks and food were always long. They advertise food trucks on the beach-there is one, the other one was for drinks. The restaurant staff were always friendly-the food was okay. You also have to be strategic about getting a chair at the pool or beach. My husband is an early riser so he was able to put towels down for us-towels we saved from the night before. If you don’t do this you won’t get a spot. We loved our stay. Four stars are due to the long lines for drinks and the food being okay, not bad, not good.

Then amenities, weather and location were great! It is a giant resort so it takes a day or so to get the lay of the land. They have trolleys that take you from place to place which was good and bad. In some cases, it made it feel less relaxing. The beach is stunning and the staff is very friendly.

We had a rat in our room over multiple nights. We unfortunately initially thought it was a gecko (came out at night when we weren't wearing our glasses). On our second to last day, we saw it with our glasses on. A rat. We saw it twice that day, so we are sure that's what it was. Unfortunately, we weren't able to get our phones quick enough to get a picture or take a video. I suspect the hotel doesn't believe us, as we've made complaints, but the best they've been willing to offer us is one free night during a future stay. We won't be having a future stay.

For the price you pay, you don’t get what you expect. I went to the Riviera maya hard rock and it was another total different experience. In punta cana, we were very disappointed. First, there were tons of spring break kids, between 500, you don’t expect this, at a nice hotel like this one. Second, the place was overcrowded, getting a place at the beach or pool was extremely difficult, you had to get up at 7 am. And the best pools for adults and to relax, were for the legendary program. Food was average and service poor.

This resort was absolutely amazing. The property was beautiful and the amenities were everything we hoped for. The food was great for an all inclusive option and the upgraded dinner was worth the price. We were already looking into booking our next trip with our kids.

Loaded with spring breakers and understaffed, especially at night. During the day the pools and beach and bars were packed, but beautiful. They don't ID underage kids. Quite a few of them throwing up, yelling, and fighting with staff. Dinner after 7pm is very slow it took 20 minutes just for someone to take our drink order; once we had a server they were very hospitable. The options for after dinner drinks, snacks, and entertainment are limited, unless you want to spend your evening with gaggles of rowdy teens. The karaoke lounge shut down due to vomit. We voiced concerns to the front desk and concierge asking for any suggestions- where we could sit and relax without the drunk teens, like an adults only area? Less than helpful in suggesting the casino, they accept fake ID's. They charge for drinks at the casino despite the all inclusive, at that point I was willing to pay for a glass of wine so I didn't have to wait in a 50 person line of teenagers and had a relatively calm place to sit down. Concierge also suggested we go back to our room and they would deliver some wine, desserts, or snacks, for our honeymoon. When we got to our room they told us they could only bring us one cheesecake and a chicken sandwich, and no wine. Then they forgot the sandwich. Pretty disappointing hospitality for the money and it being our honeymoon; requests were never met, all of this really could have been rectified on-site. I would not return unless Hard Rock reaches out to address my concerns.

The people who work there are lovely and made the experience memorable. The hotel is situated on a beautiful beach that had amazing views of the sunrise. All the food options were delicious. The spa was serene and finally the kids had a great time with lots of activity options.

Check-in, we had to go back to front desk 3x before our key would work. A very long walk, especially when pushing a wheelchair. Not very accommodating for handicap accessible. People taking handicap spots at the beach. Room service was prompt. Housekeeping was ok, had to keep asking for new hand towels everyday.

Love the hard rock !! By far the nicest all inclusive available in Punta Cana . Beware you need a golf cart to get around if you are don’t like walking /
