The Francis Hotel is ideally located in the centre of Bath, almost equi-distant from the Roman baths and the Crescent & Circus. It is very close to many shops, bars and restaurants, which allows guests to pop in and out during the day to deposit things back in the room
A very nice hotel, with good facilities and very friendly staff, however our basic double room was quite cosy ie. small, with limited wardrobe and draw space - worth considering an upgrade.
The welcome was great, the apartment was clean and very well appointed with every home comfort. Best of all it was quiet and the bed was so comfortable. There was a smart TV and every amenity you could need in the kitchen.
Great place to stay. Loved the complimentary breakfast in Porter restaurant on the ground floor.
Fewer than three blocks from the Pulteney Bridge, in a quiet neighborhood of the Georgian-era townhouses so characteristic of Bath, the Kennard is beautifully decorated and delightfully run by owners Giovanni and Mary Baiano. We were warmly greeted and very comfortably accommodated. And we found plenty to do, both exploring on our own and on tours in Bath itself (don't miss the free two-hour walking tour by members of the Mayor's Corps of Honorary Guides), the surrounding hills, and an excursion to the older-than-Stonehenge Avebury Stone Circles.

Pratts Hotel is situated less than 5 minutes away from Bath Spa station. It's a beautiful sprawling bulidng. I shared a large double room with a friend, two very comfortable single bed, all amenities. Our room overlooked the architectually splendid looking Catholic Church, but then if you love architecture which I do, then Bath is like a tasty feast.
