“UPDATE YOUR WEB SITE”

Spent 2 hours searching the web for a hotel on my travel route that met my two requirements. Pet friendly and an indoor pool. Clarion Hotel in Batavia exceeded my requirements with not one but two pools, indoor and outdoor. What the web page did not mention was that the hotel was under renovation to install an indoor water park and both pools were not open. A pool is a perfect way to calm down and entertain 2 young children after a day on the road. I have since gone to the web site to see if the closings are mentioned, (they are not) but there is a video advertising the upcoming indoor water park. A very nice hotel, but if you are planning on having a swim during your stay, this hotel can not accomadate your needs. How hard is it to mention the current status of your ammenities available on the web site? Not very hard, children are making their own web sites these days.

Staff at front desk was very disorganized. Also, room faced an interior hall where a loud wedding was in progress that did nolt end until midnight. The rooms could have used a coat of pain and new carpets.

Location is great. Close to NYS Thruway, Batavia Downs and Casino, Darien Lake Amusement Park and Niagara Falls.. Police Station is across the street needed.

“Basic accommodation”

The foyer is well presented but as soon as you step in to the corridors to rooms the quality drops. Areas outside lifts are dowdy. Despite construction work being known about my room asignment was on that same wall and came with the sound of hammers and drills during the working day. Condensation from the air conditioner dripped on to the carpet. Access doors to the hotel were left open during the day, not even requiring a key card to get access. The room was not serviced until 4.00pm.
