The hotel is located in a great area. It's close to the metro and tons of great restaurants. The staff was very helpful and pleasant. The room was bright, clean and modern. Perfect size for a couple! The breakfast was wonderful...everything you would want. Definitely recommend this place!
Lots of delicious and affordable restaurants in the area so it was an excellent location. Also the hotel was comfortable, extremely clean and even had a fridge in the room for us to stash our snacks in. Fab.

I would recommend this place to people who are used to European hotels or are open-minded to have a different experience. If you want a tried and true chain hotel and are used to a certain level of comfort that comes with a lot of space, I don't recommend this place.
I read the reviews about the host being mean to those who only spoke English, so I brushed up on my French as much as possible (I really only cared about the price point & cleanliness, that's why I booked this place). When I got there, I greeted him in French and did my best to navigate the conversation with intermittent French and plenty of "oui's" The exchange was pleasant enough and I enjoyed my stay in the triple room with two other people. My aunt and cousin had a smaller room and they said it felt like a dungeon but when I went in there it wasn't so bad, so they just might have preconceived notions about what a normal room size is outside of America. The only thing that was a little odd about it was during cleaning time they would throw all the dirty towels on the stairs and then pick them up later, so when my sister and I went for a mid-day run we walked down the stairs and had to navigate around piles of towels and sheets. All in all, it was fine. I didn't get the breakfast since it was 7 Euros but my aunt did and she said it wasn't worth the money since it was a few carby pastries, juice, and a cup of coffee.

This is a beautiful, comfortable hotel in the heart of Paris. Less than 5 minutes walk from the nearest Metro station, which itself is a few stops from Gare Du Nord. Despite being on a busy road, with the windows closed I heard little sound from the road, and no sound from other guests in the hotel. The price I paid offered great value for money.

Overall, beautiful white Rooms with very comfortable beds and clean bathroom and showers conveniently located next to Charrone metro station that takes you across the city. The hotel was small, but was more than enough for our stay. The lobby is cozy with very friendly staff that spoke English well and assisted us happily with all our requests throughout our stay. We took the suggestion of others and booked our room without breakfast and it was a great move because near the hotel are many bakeries that have delicious pastries for breakfast (in the case you decide to have early breakfast before leaving the hotel, you can still do so by paying at the lobby). Around the hotel is a Parisian shopping area with a few local brand boutique shops. There are a few restaurants/cafes as well that open till late at night. In my experience, there isn't much to do in the area, however the metro conveniently takes you anywhere you would like to go. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Paris. It was around 45 min away from CDG (depending on traffic) by taxi, and we were charged a bit less than 60 euros to the door. The neighborhood feels safe and is quiet especially at night. I give this hotel a 5/5 for a great 5 nights experience we had. I would definitely pick this hotel again for my next trip to Paris.
The staff was excellent and rooms were great! We were on an overnight flight so we arrived in the morning. They let us store our luggage so we could explore a little and let us check in a little early. We had 2 rooms and they made sure they were close together. I would definately recommend this hotel!
Love the neighborhood , and Xavier at the desk was wonderful and helpful !
The hotel was sweet and well priced !
However they started demolition for lobby renovations on our second day of 7 .
This made it hard to sleep after 9am !!
The location is pretty perfect - far enough away from the really touristy areas that you can experience the real Paris, but close to great Metro lines too.
The room was small, but very nicely decorated and with all you would expect for the price. When the air conditioning broke down, the wonderful Mélanie from reception moved us to another room with no hassle. She was really helpful throughout our stay, as were the rest of the staff.
As the hotel is new, they haven't quite nailed a good breakfast yet, but I'm sure this will improve in time. The eggs were cold and the selection wasn't great considering the price of breakfast.
Overall, a really lovely place, and the quirky decor and great staff make this place stand out.
Northeast of Place de la Bastille, this working-class neighbourhood is gradually becoming fashionable with younger Parisians. Trendy boutiques, cafés and bars are replacing the older shops and bistros, although some old-fashioned workshops survive. Left-wing sentiments are aired here annually on 14th July when France commemorates the Revolution. A few paving stones mark the site of the former Bastille prison.
