It was a great hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the rooms were so imaginatively decorated that they made staying there a treat. I cannot recommend this hotel enough for anyone looking to stay in Paris.
An attractive entrance and foyer, in which we were met by courteous, efficient and friendly (but not obsequious) reception staff. Those initial positive feelings were enhanced when we were informed we had been given a free room upgrade. Everything combined to make a memorable visit even more memorable. I have already recommended the hotel to several friends who also visit Paris regularly. I do not usually deal in superlatives, but on this occasion nothing could have been better, even the weather. We will stay there again, before too long I hope.
Brillant hotel and excellent value for money. Lots of bars, cafes and reasturants near by. Great access to all areas of Paris by Metro 1 min walk away. Staff friendly and helpful. Area a little noisy but most places on Paris are! Hotel very clean and modern. Recommend for young couple or with older kids.

The lady that checked us in was quite impolite. Because our room wasn't ready yet, we asked if we could use the toilet and was met with a rude and condescending tone "I already told you that the toilet is on the left" even though it was the first time we even asked or requested for anything. Was quite shocked at her tone but we didn't let it bother us so much.
Because the luggage room was completely full, we had to leave our luggage at a corner of the lobby. But when we came back in the evening, our stuff were moved into the luggage room and seemed to be thrown on the floor. They just threw our backpacks on top of each other in a haphazard manner. My boyfriend was quite upset about this because we had our laptops inside.
The air con in the room did NOT work. The fan was very dusty so we didn't use it. Toilet was small but the shower was fine.
The location of the hotel was good though. Close to the metro and easy to find.

"Small but perfectly formed" is the best description for this hotel. Everyone was wonderful & helpful and the location is spot on if you wish to be in a non-tourist area. There is a great choice of restaurants and bars, all close to the hotel, which are filled with young locals.
However be aware the rooms are Very Very small. They have been modernised, and beautifully done so, but It was a juggling act to get one person into the bathroom with another person in the room. And space for a suitcase or two was not easy. We had room 601, (6th floor) and it seemed that the largest rooms in the hotel are the 04 series.
My friend and I were on a short break to Paris and we wanted a comfortable hotel close to a Metro. This hotel was very good. The staff on the front desk were welcoming and efficient. The room was small but perfectly adequate for 2 people. The overall standard of cleanliness was very good. There was some noise from the street at night but it didn't disturb our sleep.

Very nice hotel in Le Marais. It is very centrally located (near Notre Dame and Louvre), has a metro station right in the corner, city bicycles across the street, and the best cafes all around. The area is nice and safe.
Free and unlimited Nespresso coffee and teas is a plus!
Very friendly staff, fast internet, and breakfast available for a very modest price. Will be coming back!

Northeast of Place de la Bastille, this working-class neighbourhood is gradually becoming fashionable with younger Parisians. Trendy boutiques, cafés and bars are replacing the older shops and bistros, although some old-fashioned workshops survive. Left-wing sentiments are aired here annually on 14th July when France commemorates the Revolution. A few paving stones mark the site of the former Bastille prison.
