Great location and within easy walk of the train station. I was able to leave my case as it was too early to check in. When I returned later in the afternoon my case had already been taken to my room. Nice touch! I was in the Dublin room which was roomy and comfortable. Nice bathroom with lovely toiletries and I eventually worked out how to use the lights!! Very comfy bed and great food. All the staff were very friendly, especially the receptionist who was on the morning I left. I would definitely recommend this hotel and will stay there again.

enjoyable stay spoiled only that we left an electrical item in the room when we checked out. In spite of a telephone call within 12 hrs to the hotel it had not been handed in, the item was certainly in the room the morning we left and had never been taken from the room by us.
We were happy with everything about this hotel. It was easy to reach from Princes St tram stop or Waverley station (suggest taking the road and not the steep steps if coming from this direction). Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was a good size and bed so comfortable didn't want to get up!
So easy and convenient for train station and sightseeing in Edinburgh. The rooms were so quiet and peaceful. Only drawback is if you have rooms in Cockburn Street annexe, they are quite a walk from reception through a maze of corridors but it is well signed and worth the walk.
