“Middle aged-golfers”

Good hotel; good location for Biarritz golf. Convenient to town centre with easy walk to centre and beaches. No local restaurants within easy, 15 mins, walking distance. Continental breakfast at 20 euro seems expensive. Secure car parking in the hotel was well handled. BUT, concierge got into a total mix-up with reservation of golf tees.

“Room we had needed updating”

Staff very pleasant and helpful. Our bedroom needed updating . The bathroom door didn't close properly. Hair drier only worked for short time before overheating and stopping! BUT ---Food in restaurant excellent. Also music on friday beautiful. Nearest beach only 5 minutes walk (down--- 112 steps.) 10 minute walk downhill into town centre. Also bus straight outside. Lovely views across bay Would stay there again.

Easy to walk to beaches Frequent buses which we used to go to St Jean de Luz/ Bayonne,/La Rhunn/ Cite de L'Ocean Easy walk to town centre and lovely shops and restaurants.

“Would definately go back”

Hotel was nice, great location overlooking the sea. Rooms were of a fair standard. Fantastic big comfy bed, but the room required some minor repairs.

“Biarritz”

This hotel is nice. The room keys are regular keys an a little tricky to use. The breakfast was included which we didn't realize or remember. Or at least they didn't charge us for it. We didn't use the pool but it seems nice enough. The lighthouse and some beautiful scenery was a short walk away.

Visit the center of town. There are lots of shops, restaurants and bars/cafes.

“Un Hôtel imposant mais vieillissant”

Situé face à la mer à quelques minutes à pied du centre de Biarritz, le Regina en impose par ses dimensions et sa blancheur. C'est un tréè bel établissement avec un immense hall et une belle verrière. A noter la grande gentillesse du personnel d'ailleurs très jeune. Nous avions réservé une chambre côté mer qui s'est révélée d'une belle superfice, propre et confortable avec suffisamment de rangement. Ces chambres sont également dotées d'un petit balcon. A conseiller. Le petit déjeuner n'est pas donné mais s'avère varié et consistant. Il n'y pas de bar dans le coin, sauf à marcher 10 mn, on n'a guère le choix de le prendre ailleurs. Cet établissement ne peut toutefois est qualifié de "luxe" compte tenu de son vieillissement. La façade a été repeinte mais l'intérieur mérite un sacré coût d'entretien, en chambre comme à la piscine.

Bel hotel mais service pas très bon: la réception ne sait pas quelles chambres sont libres, on ne peut utiliser l'ordinateur si on est juste au bar, personnel peu discret...

“Hotel situé dans le quartier résidentiel, proche de la mer et du centre ville.”

Trés bel hôtel pour son architecture et son histoire. Dans un quartier résidentiel proche de la mer et du centre ville, tout en étant discrètement dans un environnement calme avec pour avantage son parking. Le personnel est aimable et attentif. Les chambres spacieuses et confortables. Nous avons apprécié la possibilité de pouvoir se faire un thé ou un café dans notre chambre. A notre avis les faiblesses de cet hotel : l'isolation phonique, le patio pdj/restaurant sans ouverture vers l'extérieur et le manque de salle de fitness.

Les Halles et les petits restaurants autour. Qualité, ambiance, gentillesse et prix trés raisonnables.

“Hôtel de luxe avec parking gratuit, face à l'océan”

Très bel hôtel à bon rapport qualité/prix. Situé en haut d'une falaise donnant sur l'océan, à une centaine de mètres du phare de bizarritz. L'hôtel n'est pas ultra central (compter une vingtaine de minutes maxi pour joindre le centre à pieds, par un chemin agréable en bord de mer) mais son (faible) éloignement permet sans doute d'avoir un parking gratuit. Celui-ci peut être saturé le soir tard, mais nous avons tout de même toujours trouvé une place. Vue océan ou sur le golf. Très calme, on peut dormir la fenêtre ouverte. Grand patio intérieur où se trouve le restaurant.

“HOTEL REGINA ET GOLF SPA MERCURE BIARRITZ”

Magnifique établissement à l'entrée de Biarritz, vue mer et phare à s'offrir. A ne pas louper dans le sens nord sud, sinon tour de la ville à faire compte tenu des sens uniques de Biarritz qui changent souvent: prévoir carte GPS à jour ! Excellent accueil. Très beau mois d'avril 2010 mais trop frais pour espérer la piscine (extérieure). Etonnant espace intérieur. Une des façades en cours de réfection mais sans nuisances. A voir et à essayer.

“Un week-end dans un cadre très agréable”

Une escapade le temps d'un week-end ensoleillé et frais... Le cadre de l'hôtel est vraiment joli, avec de grands espaces, une vue magnifique sur le golf ou l'océan, et un dîner très apprécié la nuit venue dans le restaurant de l'hôtel. Service de qualité, cuisine raffinée, tranquillité, tout était rassemblé pour de très bons souvenirs... Je vous le recommande.
