“hotel review”

The reception staff in the hotel were first class and couldn't have been more helpful. The room was basic but the beds were very comfortable, there was ample room in the wardrode and a safe. The breakfast was good, albeit only a cold continental breakfast but it was plentiful and whilst it was self service, the staff were very helpful and continually topped up fruit juice and offered hot drinks. The free travel pass for the very efficient tram system was a great bonus and we used it every day. Overall, there will be better standard hotels in Basel, but for value for money, comfort and service, I would definately recommend this hotel, and if in Basel again, I would return to the hotel.

The hotel is centrally located and closed to everything. The staff was extremely helpful. We stayed at a very spacious and comfortable. room Breakfast was plentiful. The restaurant manager was very friendly and welcoming.

I would highly recommend this hotel. The room was larger than expected and the service was excellent. Even though there were no kettles in the room to make tea the staff provided us with hot water when we requested it. I'd definitely stay there again. It was also centrally located.

“Great hotel and close to the old city”

Great location, next to the Swisshotel and convention center, easy 10 minute walk to the old city area across the bridge. A very quiet hotel, comfortable rooms. Great hosts, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included and was very nice. We would come back there again the next time we are in Basel.

The hotel is very small, simple and uncomfortable. It was a cheesy trick to name it Swiss Hotel Q since loads of hotels in Switzerland get this award in different levels.

“Eine Nacht in Basel”

Ende Oktober 2011 habe ich aus dienstlichen Gründen eine Nacht in Basel verbringen müssen. Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral. Öffentliche Verkehrsanbindung direkt vor der Tür. Ich hatte ein Doppelzimmer zur Einzelnutzung. Es war etwas älter aber sauber mit Fernseher. Das Frühstück war gut und vollkommend ausreichend. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und auch hilfbereit. Für ein oder zwei Nächte echt zu empfehlen.

considerando la media dei prezzi degli hotel in Svizzera, propone un prezzo piuttosto basso, con un servizio discreto e desk gentile, internet compreso con cavo (l'hotel mi ha prestato cavo per connessione internet e adattatore spina, che è diversa da quella "tedesca" senza chiedere cauzioni), colazione non molto ricca (per varietà di scelta), pulito, camere spaziose, doccia piuttosto buona (1° piano), è quasi nel cuore della città, ha un parcheggio (compreso nel prezzo), non ho cenato in hotel, ma intorno ci sono decien di ristoranti x tutti i gusti

“Hotel sympa, chambre un peu spartiate...”

Hotel bien place, sympa, bon petit dejeuner. Mais pas de wifi, chambre simple mais bon lit.
