“Better than expected!!”
Room was beautifully furnished and looked like it had been done recently Friendly efficient staff Would definitely use again
“Loved the Place”
A wonderful hotel in the most pitoresque area of Strasbourg, very comfortable, nice restaurant with excellent cuisine (pricey), free outdoor valet parking. Only drawback: hard to find by car.
“Gorgeous Hotel -- Flawless Service -- Best Location”
The beautiful outdoor patio, directly on the canal, was always empty, and we can only assume that it's a result of a prohibitively expensive menu. We only had a quick drink (double shot of bourbon and white wine) after checking in, and the tab came to over 50 euro. Hardly a problem, however, because the hotel's outstanding location is just steps away from many other far less expensive options.
“Perfect Location”
We have just returned from spending a week in this Hotel. Our room was very large and comfortable with fantastic views over the canal. We had the biggest 'kingsize' bed we have ever seen and a huge en-suite bathroom with a separate en-suite toilet. The room was cleaned with linen and towels changed each day. It was very hot during our stay, but our room had air-conditioning, though we tended to have the windows wide open to let in a breeze while we were in the room (with NO smells of sewage as commented by someone previously here). Our only minor niggle about the room was that at this price we expected to have tea/coffee making facilities. All staff were very helpful and friendly at all times. The Hotel was quite difficult to get to because of one-way systems which seemed to totally confuse our sat-nav (approach it from the south of the city following 'Le Petite France' road signs). On arrival we were greeted by a friendly member of staff who took our car keys and parked the car free in a nearby street. This service was great as we just left the car keys with reception and any time we needed the car, they would just bring it to the front door and on our return park it again for us - no hassle with car parking and free at all times. The Hotel is in a perfect location within easy walking distance of the cathedral, museums, shops, trams, buses, and surrounded by lots of cafes and great restaurants to suite all tastes. It was also blissfully quiet through the night.
“Would definitely stay again”
Great hotel, great location, great service, great room. Thanks!
“Great choice”
Extremely happy with the hotel. You are in the best location possible and within walking distance of the main attractions. Staff is vey helpful. Great experience.
“Fabulous hotel in a beautiful city”
This hotel is everyhitng it claims to be. Location is perfect for exploring the historic part of Strasbourg. Lobby and rooms are beautiful - everything you would expect from a 4 star. There's in-room WiFi and free on-site parking. Also a restaurant and cocktail lounge off the lobby. No real exercise facilities but they do have a spa. If you're looking for a sleek, chic place to stay in historic Strasbourg, this is it.
“Best location in strausbourg, france”
Expedia did a great job getting this hotel on American $ instead of Euros. The hotel is in a super location with access to everything. Hotel personnel very efficient and pleasing. Would definately go back.
“A bit too pricey and very hard to find if driving.”
This has to be one of the hardest hotels to find in the flippin world! Haha! We'd read the comments from other visitors and thought we'd prepared well. WRONG! We ended up being directed to a carpark that was a dead end and walking the last 100yards! Not to worry though, we got there in the end. Place was lovely and room comfy. But in hindsight, wouldn't have spent that much. I'm sure there were hotels a lot cheaper that would have been just as nice. and the 22euro for breakfast was daylight robbery! For a few bits of toast and some preserves! Shocking!
“A lovely place to stay”
This is a lovely hotel located in the Petite France section of Strasbourg. It is close to shopping, dining, the Cathedral of Notre Dame and several museums. Because the hotel is situated on a lock system in the river it is fascinating to watch boats come through the locks. The hotel is modern, clean and the staff was very helpful. Our only disappointment was that we did not get a room with a view of the water.
