“Pefcect for access to the European Parliament Council of Europe HR & the adjacent L'Orangerie.”

Clean, spacious accommodation, friendly and helpful staff. Good continental breakfast, but could improve with a wider selection of fresh fruit. Coffee is ordinary. The hotel should really improve its coffee!

“Residence JS Bach: très comfortable, mais accueil peu professionnel”

Le JS Bach se trouve un peu à l'écart du centre de Strasbourg (si on dépend des transports en publique, il faut compter 10 à 15 minutes pour rejoindre le tram ou bus le plus proche). En arrivant, le personnel à l'accueil était totalement dépassé par les événements, à cause d'un retard au niveau du nettoyage des chambres. Cependant, au lieu de réagir calmement et de manière professionnelle, le personnel était limite brutal, n'était pas dans la mesure de répondre aux questions des clients et ne cherchait pas à trouver une solution aux problèmes. A part de cette première impression extrêmement désagréable, la chambre, le service et le petit-déjeuner étaient de haut niveau.

“Das Hotel Jean Sebastien Bach, direkt beim Orangerie Park”

Das Hotel war eine sehr gute Wahl. Das Personal war immer freundlich und hilfsbereit, das Zimmer sauber und schön. Unser Frühstück kam immer pünktlich auf's Zimmer und war durchaus lecker. Die Lage ist ein wenig entfernt vom Zentrum, aber die 2,5km kann man durchaus für einige schöne Spaziergänge nutzen und sich Strasbourg dabei ansehen. Nur wenige Meter vom Hotel entfernt ist der Orangerie Park, der im Herbst wirklich schön orange ist und in welchem man ein paar entspannte Momente erleben kann. Das Hotel kann ich somit guten Gewissens weiter empfehlen.

“Hôtel JS Bach à deux pas du parc de l'Orangerie”

Très bonne prestation, literie très confortable, les studios sont vastes. On regrettera de devoir laisser la vaisselle sale dans l'évier afin qu'elle soit faite par la femme de chambre car ni éponge, ni produit vaisselle, ni torchon, ni pastille lave vaisselle ne sont fournis. Petit déjeuner un peu en deçà du standing de l'hôtel (nourriture très industrielle). Il est dommage que la connexion internet soit payante depuis les chambres (10€ pour 24h). L'accueil est très professionnel.

Getting there

Depuis la gare de Strasbourg, le plus simple reste le taxi (compter une dizaine d'euros pour une personne avec un bagage). Si vous n'êtes pas trop chargé, prendre le tram jusqu'à l'arrêt observatoire, puis effectuer le reste du trajet à pied (10-15 min de marche), ou prendre la ligne de bus 15 jusque l'hôtel (si vous faites le trajet sans interruption, vous pouvez utiliser le même ticket, les titres de transport peuvent être achetée à tous les arrêts de tram et auprès des conducteurs de bus). L'hôtel est desservi par les lignes de bus 15 et 15a (terminus à République) arrêts Conseil des 15 et Quartier des 15.

“HOTEL PLUS QUE CORRECT BIEN QU'ELOIGNE DU CENTRE VILLE TOURISTIQUE.”

Cet hôtel (appart'hôtel en fait) est tout à fait correct : récent, bien amménagé, propre, avec du personnel aimable à tous les niveaux. Les pièces de la suite sont intelligemment disposées, avec une petite terrasse agréable. Un bémol toutefois : situé assez loin du coeur de ville, il est difficilement accessible en transports en commun (marche à pied nécessaire pour rejoindre le tramway) et de ce fait pénalise les retours de soirées. Mieux vaut avoir une voiture pour y descendre, notamment pour transporter les bagages !

Area recommendations

Hormis le centre de Strasbourg qui est magnifique (je conseille la balade commentée en bateau sur la rivière) je conseille également les petits villages de la route des vins comme KAISERBERG (qui m'a beaucoup plus) ou RIQUEWHIR, OBERNAI venant en dernier.

“Service in Frankreich besser als sein Ruf”

Sehr komfortable Zimmer, wie beschrieben, Mehrsprachige Rezeption, Frühstück auf Wunsch auf dem Zimmer. Lage zur nächsten Tram,- na ja - 10 Min. Hotel ist zu empfehlen.

Area recommendations

Parkanlage "Orangerie" = ganz in der Nähe ,- Bootfahrt um die Altstadt sollte ein Muss sein. Essen unter dem alten grünen Baum im Petite France =hervorragend und nicht so teuer wie sonst überall.

“Wat zum 2. mal da.”

Wer eien Fußweg in das Zentrum nicht scheut findet hier eine feine und preiswerte Unterkunft in einer tollen Stadt. Das Personal war superfreundlich. Einzig einen Parkplatz muss man manchmal suchen wenn man nicht die kleinen Boxen der Hotelgrage mag.
