“very convenient, opposite the train station.”

the rooms were very small. The staff were very helpful and spoke english well. My original request was not given but they arranged for me to change rooms. Breakfast was nice.

Area recommendations
Do the self guided audio tour of Petite France, it was lovely and could do at our own leisure. The boat cruise was good, and a visit to the cathedral is a must..

“The best value for money I've experienced in Europe.”

Brilliant location right opposite the railway station. Everything is an easy walk. Excellent service from the staff. Plenty for breakfast should one choose to. The hotel feels like it has been recently renovated and is just a touch arty without being pretentious. The room itself was outstanding with an excellent view, comfy bed, excellent showering amenities, superfast complimentary net connection, and to top it off, chocolates on my pillows. I'd thoroughly recommend this hotel.

“Most convenient to Train station”

Great quality hotel, close to the train station if travelling by TGV, and less than 5 minute walk to the centre of town.

“Across the river from Petite France”

This hotel is an old building refurbished but dated--our room key was a skeleton key. The room was comfortable, clean, and very roomy for three travelers. The staff was very helpful in directing to the Petite France area that is within a five minute walk from the hotel. The train station is across the street and while the hotel did not have on site parking, they have an arrangement with a public parking garage around the corner at a reasonable 7 euros per night. We would stay here again primarily for the great location.

Area recommendations
Petite France was amazing. Many beautiful buildings from the the 1600's with many shops and restaurants in the twisting streets and alleys. The atmosphere and charm made our afternoon and evening spent here the most memorable of our trip.

“Convenient location”

Hotel is located right in front of Strasbourg station. There is no on-site parking facility but a parking garage is within an easy walking distance and guests have a discount voucher from the hotel. The price included the breakfast and I thought it was a good deal. Downside - no A/C in the room. So, can't stay in the summer.

“Nice Location”

It had a great location, very convenient to the Train station, yet close to the city. The rooms were large and clean. Very happy with our stay.

“Great Place to Stay”

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at The Grand Hotel. Arriving by train, the hotel was conveniently located across the street. While I arrived before check-in, there was no problem safely leaving my bags while I went to explore Strasbourg. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable, a great deal for the price. I highly recommend this hotel and would enjoy going back again!

“Great location!”

The view from the front facing room was great. This is an attractive hotel in a super convenient location. The morning breakfast included a variety of fresh and adequate food. If I go back to Strasbourg I would stay at this hotel again.
