“City Trip”

Would I recommend the hotel????? - If you would like a centrally located hotel in the middle of everything then no. - If you would like a hotel near the European parliament etc and near parks etc then yes. In general: Negative - - In our opinion the hotel cannot really be classed as 4 star, we would place this as a 3 star hotel. - The hotel is pretty expensive considering its location and the amenities etc - At 19 Euro per person the breakfast is very expensive (especially considering what is on offer) - The front staff on our first night were not very helpful when asked for restaurant / bar location in town Positive - - The bed and the pillows in the room was very comfortable! - The bar staff were very friendly - The hotel was situated near some parks for a morning run

“Holiday Inn Strasbourg”

Good hotel (see above) but cost free WIFI limited to one hour in the lobby and slow cable connection in the rooms, good pool (few hotels in Strasbourg have one), breakfast buffet expensive.

“Let down by food”

The hotel was excellent in that we could park right next to the hotel. The tram was close by which took us to the city centre. The hotel does a good deal on 24hr. tickets. Excellent price on superior room by booking in advance. Whole experience was let down by pricey and not so good food and drinks.

“Hotel d'affaires”

Hotel spacieux et confortable. Petit déjeuner copieux mais un peu cher (19 €). Les lits sont king-size et les chambres agréables malgré une déco un peu chargée. Salle de bain avec baignoire et WC présentant toutes les commodités. Les prix sont ceux de Strasbourg donc TRES chers ! L'hotel est proche d'une station de Tram mais il n'y a pas de commerces aux alentours. Au 1er étage une piscine que je n'ai pas eu loisir de visiter.

“Tranquille et bien situé”

Hôtel bien situé à côté d'un arrêt de tramway. On peut quand meme se rendre au centre-ville a pied en 15 minutes. Rien à dire pour le confort. Déjeuner adéquat et bien garni. Beaucoup de choix.

“Holyday Inn liegt 8 Strassenbahnminuten vom Stadtzentrum”

Gute Erreichbarkeit des Stadtzentrums mit der Strassenbahn gleich vor dem Hotel. Das Hotel selber ist okay. Die Betten waren gross und angenehm und in den Zimmern war ruhig. Insbesondere wer mit dem Auto anreist, ist mit diesem Hotel tiptop beraten. Schlecht war bei uns einzig, dass die Dusche nur maximal 40 Grad warmes Wasser hergibt; deshalb nützt das ansonsten schöne Bad dem Hotelgast nix. Die meisten anderen Hotels im Stadtzentrum liegen vielleicht etwas zentraler, aber verfügen über wenig bis gar keine Parkplätze.

Getting around

Unbedingt zu Fuss oder mit dem Tram (günstig), wo alle 6min eines fährt. Das Auto kann man in der Strassburger Innenstadt schlichtweg vergessen; praktisch keine freien Parkplätze.

“Holiday Inn : Très bon séjour familial à Strasbourg”

Les plus : - Chambre familiale confortable et très pratique pour séjourner avec deux enfants petits. - Hotel pas complètement central (lycee Kleber) mais accès pratique et rapide au centre ville par Tramway - Accueil et service sans soucis Les moins : - restaurant fermé lors de notre séjour - petit dejeuner cher et servi dans un cadre sans charme (salle de séminaire car restaurant fermé) Dans l'ensemble nous avons éte tres satisfaits
