“A hidden treasure”

I wasn't planning to stay at this place, but the price was very tempting as I was on a budget. The resort is really nice, the room is very comfy, close to a grocery store, restaurants, and gas station. The only downfall is their wireless internet; their internet connection is terrible during the day, you will have a lot connection drops, but hopefully they will fix this soon. The night there is very quiet, so you don’t have to worry about traffic noise, you will have a great sleep!

“Wonderful.”

Staff were very friendly and happy to please whenever possible. The resort looked wonderful. My stay was too short. Can't wait to go back. Will take my family the next time.

Area recommendations

Hoseshoe Valley much nicer and quieter than Barrie. went to visit aunt and uncle in Barrie. Was happy to stay away from the hustle and bustle in Barrie.

“PERFECT FOR FAMILIES!”

It's always pleasure to come to this resort. The 2 bedroom unit is perfect for our family of 5, and very spacious. It's clean, modern style, things to do around the resort if you do not ski,etc. I think it's great value for your money. Would highly recommend this place!

Horseshoe Valley has a lot to do for families, from cross country, snow tubing, downhill skiing, ziplining, skating, etc.

“Lots of room to relax”

“Love this place”

Good location to get to many different attractions, from DowntownToronto, to santa's Village, to Canada's Wonderland, to Wasga Beach ets. But you are at a peaceful cottage with a barbaque, kitchen and swimming pool. Very well run

“One of the best hotels you'll stay in”

We travelled our parents and our 5 month old baby and chose the 1BR suite. It was perfect and very comfortable, well decorated, clean and very functional, with all the conveniences of home, slpit bathrooms, jacuzzi, full kitchen (in fact fully stocked with cutlery and utensils), balcony. The staff were very friendly and in fact we rented a DVD but since the DVD player in our room was not working, they promptly had it replaced and did not charge us the DVD rental. Overall we were really impressed and will highly recommend.

“Was away from city, very peaceful.”

First time to Canada, went to Niagria Falls, was a little further away from Hotel then intended but was worth it for the price of the condo. Staff was all very helpful and genereous.

“Great Stay...but you'll need a car”

The resort was very nice. The rooms were spacious and quite clean. The furnishings were in very good condition and all supplies were well stocked. Lots of restaurant choices within a 20 minute drive of the resort. We read some other reviews warning against the pool but didn't have a chance to use the pool on this visit. We'll have to check it out next time. Wasaga Beach, Collingwood and Midland were only 25 minutes away. There were numerous golf courses with a wide price range in the area. The family enjoyed golfing at Simoro Golf Lincs the best.
