Recently stayed at the Aqualux, lovely hotel, 5 minutes from the small town of Bardalino, full of restaurants and bars and views over the Lake.
Room was great, it was for four so we had a sofa bed and a huge kingsize bed. Lots of towels which was a nice change as often not enough for four, shame is not enough space to hang them up to dry.
Breakfast was excellent, very fresh produce especially fresh orange juice and range of cakes. Lots of Germans here so German breads etc featured on the breakfast menu. Pool bar was great for a quick sandwich/drink- reasonable prices. We were offered half board but with such a range of restaurants nearby we didn't feel the need.
Lots of sun loungers, even with a full hotel we had no problem finding somewhere to sit. An amazing range of
pools and lots of bubbles, water was heated so even on the cold rainy days we were able to swim outside and then come in to the warm indoor areas.
Improvements, somewhere to hang towels and wet swimming costumes and maybe staff could smile a bit more!
We spent 3 nights at this hotel in a standard room with side lake view on a breakfast only basis. The room was really nice, modern, clean and comfortable with tea/coffee making facilities provided. We were pleasantly surprised by the food and ended up eating at the buffet lunch and dinner too. The Wellness facilities were great and all in very good condition. Loved the thermal pools and sauna. Staff were polite and friendly. Location wise, the hotel was just a short walk from the lake. The one thing I will say is to book Spa treatments in advance of your visit though as we were unable to both book a massage.
We had a lovely room with a balcony looking over the pool. The room was basic but comfortable and remained cool with a canopy and air conditioning. The shower was small but this did not spoil our stay. The swimming pool was a good size with lots of sunbeds available. The breakfast was excellent with lots of choice. The staff were helpful. There were bikes on hire and recommend you cycle to Lazize and Garda towns which is a level ride around the lake which is nicely paved so makes for easy cycling.
The hotel is next to a road so there was some road noise but this did not spoil our stay.

Very nice hotel that is very close to the centre of Bardolino. Two minutes walk from restaurants, shops and water front. The hotel has a nice pool area that is private and not overlooked. Staff at the hotel are very friendly and helpful.

The hotel was beautiful. We had stayed previously and decided to get married there and they didn't disappoint! The hotel is beautiful and the staff were amazing - it is worth paying a little extra and booking the larger rooms/ apartments or the suites as they are more spacious.

Hotel gave us a warm welcome and offered us an upgrade to a room wigh balcony and lake view! Great base to explore the lake by boat and never short of something new to do. We visited different places every day as wd had not visited the region before but wecojld have beenjusg as comfortable relaxing by the pool. Late afternoon on balcony with a glass of wine , heaven! There are a few restaurants close by but for the best choice a 15 minute stroll along the lakeside prom gives a wide choice in bardolino.highly recommended!

Famous for its wine, Bardolino is an elegant little resort with a smart lakeside promenade. The Wine Museum is worth a visit as is the Olive Oil Museum at neighbouring Cisano. Bardolino also boasts two important churches: San Zeno with its landmark campanile dates from the ninth century, while the 12th-century San Severo is notable for its medieval frescoes. There are several beaches around Bardolino.
