“A great hotel!”
The actual room looks exactly like the pictures: clean and new. One thing to complain though. I got to the hotel at 9am and asked if I could check in earlier when they had a room available before the check-in time 3pm. They said the earliest check-in time is 3pm. They lack flexibility.
“a good hotel in barcelona”
it was a good hotel and near to public transportation and I liked how they treated the customers and how they serve them
“Average hotel”
Decent location, walking distance to major sights, hard bed, poor wi-fi, cheaper than most other hotels but stil not cheap.
“Can't wait to go back!!”
Stayed there for a total of 3 nights. Johanna and Rovanni at the front desk were excellent in providing details on sights to see.
“Barcelona magic”
Barcelona was fantastic. The hotel was conveniently located near the metro, literally a few steps. The bus to the port area ran past the door and we ate on 2 nights there as the seafood was delicious and fresh. We used the hop on, hop off bus one day which gave us our bearings and then the metro which was easy to use. The funicular and teleferic took you to the top of the mountain which gave outstanding views of Barcelona. The architecture, both old and new, was beautiful. The only problem was the smog and smell of sewerage in the streets. Very clean city and felt safe at all times.
“Great value, great location, easy walking and metro, as advertised.”
Hotel is across the street from the metro L3 (green) line--easy hop to many nice locations. The 10-piece public transportation ticket makes it very affordable; mix and match between metro, train, bus. Also, if you like to walk, you can get to many great places by foot: the Port, the Rambla, the Rambla del Mar (beautiful at sunset), Plaza Catalluna, Paseo de Gracia, even Plaza Espana (very little there). Small supermarket, fruit stands and bakeries around the corner from hotel offer convenience. Old residential area, always felt safe. Would have been nice to have a coffee maker in the room, but a bottle of hot water from the restaurant and Starbuck's VIA worked well. Amazing collection of toiletries. Hotel lobby could use an uplift. We loved our stay and would definitely choose this hotel again.
“Very nice hotel”
Enjoyed my 3-day stay. Nice location, clean room, helpful staff... One complaint though, there's no coffee maker in room. Meaning you can't even have some drinkable hot water in your room and you'll have to go to their restaurant to BUY a cup of coffee or tee.
“Below expectations - a 2-3 start hotel”
Cold water, no light from the outside, a 2 star hotel experience
“Great Hotel, Great Location, Great City!”
I was just there over Labor Day weekend, and my vaca was amazing! This hotel is definitely worth it! The rooms are spacious and so is the bathroom which is not typical for european hotels. And its location is fantastic! Five minute walk to the metro and Placa Espanya and ten minute walk to the Barcelona port area (beautiful)! Other sights are also walk distance but if you don't feel like walking the metro is right outside. Although I do recommend walking its a beautiful city! Hotel staff super friendly at check-in/check-out, made sure to set up a wake-up call and taxi for my 6AM flight! Definitely recommend this hotel! Tip to save you money! If staying at this hotel you can take a bus from the airport to literally OUTSIDE the hotel there's a stop! Its the red bus #46 (or 56) I forget the number, it goes towards Placa Espanya its the only red bus but definitely ask around the airport staff or even the people who set you up with a taxi, they're super friendly! The buses at the airport are right next to the taxis. Taking the bus is 1.40euro each person compared to around 50euro for a taxi when the bus takes you RIGHT outside the hotel, literally its the last stop! Its a great way to save money for other more exciting things! And the metro for sight seeing is also a great way to get around! They have metro maps right at the hotel desk!
“I will always go back to this Hotel”
This hotel provided an excellent service for the price we paid. It was near everything. The breatfast was wonderful we ate there everyday. There are all the transportations at the door of the hotel that take you everywhere in Barcelona. Also, we walked to most of the attractions and specially la Rambla and cute places to eat daily. My husband and I loved this place. If we go to Barcelona again, we will stay here again. The rooms were extremely clean and air condition was a plus. You can also ask for a password for the internet daily and the receptionist will be so glad to provide you with one free. We had a wonderful experience here and I will recommend this hotel to anyone. Thank you again. Forever thank you!
