“Good Stop over Location”

Ideal location for stop over or easy access to airport. Excellent shuttle service to and from hotel. Shuttle service was provided to downtown Barcelona which was an added bonus. Found hotel restaurant slightly expensive with no alternative as there are no other restaurants in the area.

“Great location to Airport”

Free shuttle to the Airport was very disirable. Also, onlt 10 Euro's to the port to catch your cruise. Great breakfst included.

“Great Experience”

Great hotel...close to the airport with free shuttle and also has a shuttle to the pier (10 euros). We were able to take a free shuttle into Las Rambles for dinner and a little sightseeing before leaving on our cruise the next day. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Area recommendations

Near Las Rambles which is a center of art, culture, shopping and sightseeing.

“OK for a one night stay”

Hotel is clean & modern, but a 25 Euro ride away from the city center. We arrived at 8:45AM & the rooms (we had two rooms) were not ready (check-in is at 3:00PM). They stored our luggage for us & moved them into our rooms when they became available. One room's A/C did not work upon our return that afternoon. They immediately gave us another room. The replacememnt room's A/C was not functioning well either. Even after requesting repairs, the A/C barely made a difference in the room after running non-stop all night. The A/C of room two was working great. Food in the hotel restaurant is barely acceptable & very expensive. They have a nice shuttle system to downtown Barcelona & the airport.

“Medicore”

Staff was not friendly. The staff called our room at 22:30 (!) requesting payment for the meal that we billed to the room, were rude and condesending. That was our first night and we weren't scheduled to check out for 3 more nights! We had pre-paid 100% for the room and didn't appreciate a "wake-up call" in the middle of the night to be hasseled over a 40 Euro meal which was properly charged to our room. Certainly not up to the "Renassiance" hotel standard of service. Mini-bar fridge was out of order. Hotel is remote, not convenient to the city so best for business travelers who don't mind rude calls in the night.

“Airport Hotel”

We stayed 1 night as we flew back from Sevilla to catch an international flight back the next morning. The free hotel shuttle bus back and forth to the airport was nice bonus. If your staying in Barcelona for a few days, you might be better off staying directly in the city. Yes, you will pay more, but the difference may not be that great after factoring in the cost and time of getting to and from the city....depending on how many trips you take to the city. We stayed in the Gothic quater on the front end of our trip.

Area recommendations

Font Magica at night and Montjuic Castle (great views) were very nice and free. Take the gondola ride up to the top of Montjuic. Something like 9 Euros round trip, but worth it considering the castle is free. Metro system is great....buy a T-10 ticket to save money on multiple trips. Do your research.

“good airport hotel”

The room and hotel sevices were very nice and highly recommeded for an airport hotel. However the grounds in back of the hotel were not maintained to 4-star status and the noises from the corridors (doors shutting and people's voices) were somewhat disturbing while sleeping.

“great hotel by the airport”

Hotel was great for night stay close to airport. Shuttle to and from airport ran on time, however has a lot of guest using this service, so it is extremely crowded during morning arrivals. Free shuttle to downtown only runs once in the morning and once in the afternoon, which again is extremely crowded with other guest using this service. Hotel staff were helpful, and most spoke english.

Area recommendations

Rambla area is a realy nice walk with a lot of tourist shops to buy gifts. The Sagrada familia was amazing, and the spanish village was a great area to see the different spanish architecture together in a quick visit.

“"Experinced traveler"”

My only regret was that the only English speaking channel on the TV was CNN. I would have thought that there would be at least one channel besides CNN. 24/7 of CNN is a bit much when all you want to do is relax and watch a little TV. The ease of the hotel in relationship to the airport was great. Hotel staff was excellent. My only other regret was not being able to get change for Euros the morning of my departure. Unable to tip bellmen and drivers because of lack of change.
