“Barcelona's little gem”
Went to Barcelona for partners 60th Birthday.. everything about hotel was brilliant.. So much to do and see, will have to go back again soon.
“Great hotel for a weekend break”
Great location, stylish hotel and good service from the reception and maid service.
“Wonderful hotel”
The Pulitzer is an excellent boutique hotel in the heart of Barcelona. It's right next to the Plaza de Catalunya. The accommodations are fantastic, the staff are very friendly, and helpful. They have a nice bar, and serve breakfast. We never made it to breakfast, so I can't speak about the food. We expect to stay at the Pulitzer again, when we come back.
“Excellently sited good quality hotel.”
Compared with the big upside of the location, there are very few downsides. Room very well appointed, bed comfortable. Service very good .Restaurant not open in evening but not a problem - v good veggie restaurant round the corner in Jovellanos. Breakfast v good
“An extremely comfortable and convenient hotel”
We stayed for four nights with friends, for a short city break. We have nothing but good things to say about the hotel. First of all, it is situated off Placa Catalunya, so the airport bus stopped only 200m away. Secondly, it was convenient for the open-top tour buses and all other central amenities. The room was very nice indeed, with good, friendly service from the staff. At the sister hotel next door we were able to use the internet facilities to book our airline seats for the return journey. We did not breakfast at the hotel, quite simply because there was a wide choice of bars and cafes in the vicinity. we did lunch at the hotel, however and it was really good value for money: three courses, water, wine and coffee (and an endless supply of bread) for a very reasonable price. We would certainly go back again.
“very small room”
not space at all inside the room. unconfortable
“Pretty good.”
Good hotel, good location. Asked for an iron twice and it never showed up. Cockroaches a couple of times, but that happens even in a nice hotel. A hotel reception person gave us a horrible recommendation for a restaurant; figure it out on your own. Go left onto Rambla de Catalunya and look for the very busy Tapas bars, those are the best. If they are not crowded, they probably aren't as good.
“Great Value for money”
We stayed at the Pulitzer for two nights prior to a Mediterranean cruise and found it to be a great value for the price paid. The location is excellent, no more than 2 minutes from the Plaza da Catalunya and Las Ramblas, but on a quieter side street so the noise of those areas does not bother your sleep. Staff were pleasant and helpful during our stay. Easy stroll with bags from the Plaza where the very efficient Aeroport Bus drops passengers from the airport. Staff were helpful in arranging transport to the Port to catch the ship.
“Good location”
Located walking distance from La Rambla, which is very convenient. We only stayed for two nights, literally - we were out sightseeing, all day long, getting back to the room late at night. Hotel staff is very friendly.
“Great avant-garde hotel right in the middle of Barca”
