“very convenient location, incredible spanish seefood buffet!”
very good
“Good, but some limitations”
Hotel restaurant options are limited, and relatively expensive. Nearby alterntive eating options are limited. Location is in a business district, no other hotels nearby, so management may feel that they don't need to compete. No on-site shop for snacks and sundries. Service levels from most staff were excellent (especially Club Floor concierges). The exception would be the main concierge desk, which seemed to be relatively indifferent to hotel guests...
“OK, but pricy for what you get”
This hotel was OK, but everything was from the restaurant to the WiFi was way overpriced. Also, while the surrounding neighborhood was pleasant enough the hotel is ~1 hour walk (20 minutes via metro) to Barcelona's main attractions.
“We enjoyed staying in this hotel. I will go back again.”
We found this hotel great in terms of location and service. People are really friendly and very helpful. Food is also good with varieties.
“A good hotel”
The hotel was perfectly located for the purpose I went to Barcelona, which was to watch Barcelona play. The hotel itself was well kept and of good standard. The hotel staff are an asset to it they are polite and there was nothing too difficult for them to do. I called the hotel before my arrival and spoke to David who was very helpful in giving me directions on how to get there. Unfortunately, I did not get to see him in person to thank him. On arrival I was cheked in by Ewelina, who also was courteous and apologised for my room not being ready though it was not the official time to check in. She also upgraded my room when I questioned been given a twin bedroom as oppose to a double room I requested. The room I had was a club room which was good but the bath could have been bigger. I had breakfast at the hotel which was nice but a bit pricey for 20 Euros. The restaurant staff were also very friendly and took care of my needs and I also got given a free breakfast for a staff mixing up my table. I will recommend this hotel and it is about 20 minutes from the city centre using the metro. It is about 5 minutes walk from the metro (Maria Cristina). It is also aproximately 5 minutes from Nou Camp. The hotel is also close to shopping centres and a couple of restaurants.
