“A Nice Stay in Barcelona”

Area recommendations
The Parque Ciutadella Apartments were clean and well furnished. After travelling throughout Europe for 6 weeks and staying in hotel rooms, this two-bedroom apartment with full kitchen was a welcomed relief. There was a bit of a hassle going to another part of town to check-in and get the keys. However, we were given good directions to the apartment and enjoyed our week's stay. The security of the building was much appreciated. The surrounding neighborhood seems fine for the most part, but we felt especially safe with a locked front door to the aprtment building and a code needed for the elevator. We would certainly stay there again.

“Ciutadella apartments: ottima esperienza, pulizia da migliorare”

Eravamo 4 adulti e 2 bambini e non abbiamo avuto nessuna brutta sorpresa, se si eccettua un piccolo appunto sulla pulizia (un pò di polvere per terra, vetrate non pulite), ma per il resto c'è tutto ciò che può servire per un viaggio di alcuni giorni. Per chi non ha un'auto (che peraltro è inutile a Barcellona) sarà un pò scomodo prendere le chiavi all'hotel Butique distante circa 1,5 Km, ma per lo meno non è necessario riportarle al check out. Per l'auto non c'è parcheggio riservato ma solo quelli a pagamento per strada (costo: 5 euro 2 ore!!!) , ma a poche decine di metri dall'appartamento comincia la zona free parking per cui parcheggiare non costa nulla e non si rischia nulla, vista la buona frequentazione del quartiere. A pochi passi c'è un grande supermercato per tutte le necessità e diversi bar, il migliore dei quali nella piazza antistante, un bel locale dove si possono fare ottime colazioni sia dolci che salate ed è possibile pranzare a prezzi ridicoli per un italiano. Al piano terra dell'edificio c'è un Kebab ottimo e molto pulito che consiglio vivamente. Insomma, ottima scelta per chi vuole risparmiare ed avere più libertà rispetto ad un albergo. Infatti il prezzo dell'appartamento non varia in base al numero di occupanti. Consigliatissimo

Area recommendations
Non c'è un quartiere da consigliare per il soggiorno, semmai è preferibile sceglere in base alla vicinanza della metro che collega TUTTA la città, è pulita e molto frequente (di solito 1 treno ogni 3 minuti). Per questo motivo sconsiglio le aree più caotiche, nonchè mal fraquentate e meno pultie del resto della città, come la zona delle ramblas, specialmente l'area del Mercado de San Josè. Per i ristoranti fidatevi poco delle guide (Routard in testa) ed evitate il Ristorante a base di carne "El Paraguayo", che in realtà è piccolo, caro rispetto al resto della città ed offre piatti di carne non indimenticabili (la mia bistecca ad esempio non si tagliava). Il pesce si mangia molto bene ed a prezzi bassi sull'Avinguda Litoral, parallela della Ronda Litoral. Chiedete ai passanti, vi sapranno indicare. Per il resto ottimi i famosi panini di Placa de San Jaume.
