Very friendly reception, clean and good sized room. Located away from center but if know how to use the Metro then it's "in good location". We had a beautiful stay.

Nice enough for a place to sleep
It's a nice enough hotel. There was only one towel, and when asked, we had to collect it, rather than it being taken to the room. Coincidentally there were other people asking for towels also.

Short Barcelona trip
This hotel was close enough to the metro (approx 4 blocks) and 2-3 train stops away from the heartbeat of Barcelona. Has all the basic amenities that you would expect for a budget hotel. The beds are comfy and the rooms are clean. The only thing I would caution is make sure you're breakfast is included in the price otherwise you can eat from an outside restaurant.

The 2 clerks at the hotel were really good, helpful, friendly, and very nice (thank you :-) the Breakfast was fine It's not a 5 stars hotel, but it is very ok for the price we paid.

Noisy
If you like sleeping with the window open, as we do, it is unexpectedly noisy. Stayed two week nights and between midnight and five am there seemed to be a continuous group of people on the street below drinking, talking, yelling, catching taxis. If you keep the double windows closed though you should not have a problem. Clean but not spotless.

Clean rooms. We found it difficult to find nice restaurants in the area. We were turned away a one because we only spoke English. definitely not a tourist area. Beds were hard.

This hotel is ideally located: close to the Fontana metro station and just a short taxi ride away from the main city center. You can walk from the hotel to the city center and there are many good attractions on the way. Rooms were clean and the staff very friendly.

Close enough to attratcions, very favorable price
We had only three days in Barcelona and wanted to pack as much in as possible. The hotel is close enough to most of the important points to visit on foot, or by bus. The staff was friendly and very helpful. A great value to stay there!

fantastic location, wonderful staff
we loved this hotel, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, nothing was a bother, and the location was brilliant, right in the middle of things with easy access to buses and metro. lunch was very good and great value for money. Will always check NH hotels first when we are looking for a hotel

Good value for money
Good location, 5 min walk from metro station. But not too much restaurant or shopping in the surrounding. The flushing of the toilet doesn't work when checked-in, but the staff repaired it quickly. It is a pity that the bathtub doesn't have a watertight glass wall, so everytime we took a shower, the ground was full of water.

Quick access to attractions
We vacationed here with our 15 month old and walked everywhere ... its an easy and pleasant walk to Las Ramblas, Parc Guel, Sagrada Famiglia and all the attractions in the area. It is also a short stroll to the metro which makes it so easy to get anywhere around the city. Staff was very polite and rooms and common areas very clean.

Great hotel next to a great spot
The front desk was extremely helpful in pointing out locations to visit. Right next to Gracia with all the great food and the metro lines into downtown made eating and getting around super simple. Didn't eat at the hotel because that's not our thing but they had decent food recommendations.

The location of this hotel is ideal, it's 6 minutes from the centre of Barcelona (2 stops) on the L6 metro line and about 30 minutes walk to many of the main sites (Park Guelle, Sagrada Familia, Las Ramblas), with supermarkets nearby for amenities. The staff at NH Beluga's front desk were always friendly and accomodating, resolving an issue for us at check in with no difficulty. The rooms were adequately sized and well-cleaned daily and complementary toiletries and a hairdrier were issued as standard. The breakfast was varied, however the quality of certain dishes (such as the eggs) left a bit to be desired. The main downside of the hotel was that the rooms were not soundproof in the least. We could hear virtually everything that happened on our floor and the plumbing system in the rooms meant that you could hear the neighbouring room's water system as though it was being used IN your own room. The wall paper in our room was starting to peel off, which didn't affect us much but was unappealing.

Quiet Location
The hotel is in a quiet location away from the main shopping and tourist hot spots. It is about 20 min walk to Pl Catalunya or 5 mins from the nearest metro. Did not take the breakfast but there are a coule of sandwich shops nearby.

Hotel is within walking distance from town center.
You can walk to the center city within 20-25 minutes and there are many buses and two stations (metro and train) nearby. Local area is interesting and has his own character, you can find there a lot of cafes to eat. Room that we had was OK, but some thing can be improved - light was dim because of energy saving lamps; beds were very comfortable, but below was a night club with teenagers so my friend has difficulties to sleep. Be aware about the Internet issues - very difficult to connect to and there is no guarantee that it will work for 24 hrs. Viber does not work there. TV has only one channel - news in English . Other channels do not have English subtitles. The choice of channels is limited mainly locals - which is pity. Staff can not make booking tickets for you to museums. We are not able to confirm our sits of choice for out flight back. If your flight is in early hours you have to take a taxi (40 euros ) for 20 min drive.

Great hotel great location great price
Hotel Belagua was a gem, really great location close to not only 2 but 3 metro ( 1 ferrocarril ) stations, and nice personal , the only complaint would be the bar/ disco on one side of hotel, very noisy on weekends

The proximity of the hotel to the metro made it easy to get around barcelona. Friendly and helpful Staff. Pleasant and clean, good selection of hot and cold choices for breakfast. Comfy room.

Not a bad choice
The room was basic but very clean. The bed wasn't overly comfortable but the hotel was quiet so we always managed to get a decent night's sleep. The neighbourhood seemed quite safe and there was a good choice of bakeries and cafes within walking distance. The metro and bus stops were fifteen minutes walk away. We took a taxi from Placa Catalunya to the hotel late on a Saturday night and it cost less than ten euro (although the taxi driver had never heard of the hotel before and had to put the address on his GPS!). The staff on reception were polite. Jose was particularly helpful, allowing us to print off our tickets home and booking us a taxi to the airport. We didn't spend a huge amount of time in the hotel but it was nice to come back at the end of the day to a clean and quiet room so overall, we enjoyed our stay at NH Belagua.

Great Position. Very Clean Staff seem to have very limited interest in assisting guests and were arrogant, verging on rude. The walls are paper thin. We stayed on the top floor thank goodness!

The staff at this hotel are among the best I have had. They were polite, helpful and had a good sense of humour. Their English was great too, which helps if you don't speak a lot of German.

Perfect choice for tourists
I went to Barcelona as a tourist for 10 days and have enjoyed my stay at the hotel. It has a perfect location in a quiet street 2 min away from the metro station and 10 min away from place Catalunya (by metro). The rooms are big with a separate bathroom, free wifi, an air-conditioning unit, a fridge and comfortable beds. Staff is nice and very helpful. Also, a one week festival (Gracia festival) takes place a street away from the hotel starting August 15 which is quite cool if you are a tourist. Small advice: avoid making international calls from the hotel as the rates are pretty expensive. All in all, I was highly satisfied by my choice and will definitely stay at NH Belagua next time I visit Barcelona

The staff in the hotel were really helpful and spoke a lot of languages between them and were very efficient and helpful. The only downside was the lack of facilities in the hotel. It would have been nice after a long day to come back and have a drink in a hotel bar but there wasn't one. The room was OK. Well appointed and clean and I liked the area of Gracia. It was a quiet district wiht a few local shops & resteraunts and an easy walk to the centre of Barcelona. I can recommed the nearby Bar Alpha for a pleasant evening of live music.

The hotel was great value- the room was basic but very clean and had everything we needed. The staff were all friendly and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to anyone looking for a reasonably priced hotel in a good location.

I cannot imagine a better hotel for the money if you get Expedia's Bed and Breakfast special since the breakfast buffet there was by far the best food we had in our entire ten days in Spain - by far. It is an excellent location and I do not see how you could do better.

Great stay
Me and my friends went for a birthday getaway. Had a blast. only about 7€ cab ride to shopping center area and 10€ to get to beach area. 5 minute walk to a great restaurant(Los Asadores) and 1 minute walk from a great club(Otto) to party. Will definitely stay at this hotel if I ever come back to Barcelona. Great service...clean rooms...free Internet....at a great price. HB (from Las Vegas, USA)

Nice hotel, boring location
NH Beluga was a nice hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Rooms were spacious and clean. However the location left something to be desired. It is about a 15-20 minute walk to las ramblas, and there is not much to eat or do around the hotel within walking distance.

great little hotel
this hotel was great. friendly, helpful staff. great neighborhood, easy to walk to most major sights, very good breakfast also. The only negative was that the bed was a little on the hard side, besides that everything was great.
