“Great Hotel!”
Great, contemporary hotel for the price and location. Friendly staff. Not dead center in the city but close enough to walk to all the main attractions (granted, it takes about 30 min to walk to Sagarda Familia, but it's a great way to discover the city). We never used the metro once. We had to burn off that good food somehow... Our room was small but comfortable. Beautiful bathroom. Safe neighborhood.
“Perfect Location”
Very convinient location in the quiet part of the touristic center, within walking distance from Passeig de Gracia. Hotel was clean, hotel staff was very helpful.
“Nice stay”
We are very happy with our stay in this hotel. The room was very clean and was recently renovated. The room is fairly small in size but given the price and location, I am not complaining. The staff was very friendly and helpful. You can buy the double-decker tourist bus tickets at discount price at the front desk. The hotel is not close to any subway stations (about 15-20 minute walk) but has a bus stop for 3 bus routes right at the front. It is also very close to the tourist bus station.
“Impressed with hotel”
Was impressed with hoteland would use hotel againa and recomend to friends.
“Hotel Zenit Barcelona”
The Hotel is clean and comfortable, but not too comfortable. The room, althought a double, was small and we barely had room to go around the bed. The neighborhood is outside the main tourist area, but loaded with shops and restaurants and cafes after dark. Central to the metro line and busses., we got to any area of the city with comfort.
“Average hotel, quite far away from the centre”
The hotel itself is quite nice, but definately only a 3 star hotel as the rooms are pretty basic but quite clean and presentable and the internet connection is pretty average. The location is not great, as it is about a 30-40min walk into Las Ramblas which is the central point of the city, especially for tourists, although we found the buses ok, and every 20mins or so during the day. A cab into the port was about 10 Euro. Car parking was quite expensive at 22 Euro per day, with a discount throogh the hotel.
“Good City Break Hotel”
The hotel is clean and modern with staff who are friendly, helpful and speak very good english. It's a 15 minute walk from the nearest metro and less to the nearest bus so getting a metro pass is a good idea and will save you. The air conditioning was an absolute blessing to give relief from the August heat. It was also wonderful that the hotel looked after our suitcases until our late night flight after we had checked out. We didn't eat any meals in the hotel but the room and the public hotel areas were up to its 4 star rating and I think we got a good bargin. This hotel makes a good base for exploring the city so long as you don't mind not being in the heart of things. Its also probably a lot quieter than what's on offer in the old town.
“Barcelona one night stay”
The hotel was very nice for the reasonable price we paid - I have paid more in the U.S. and received less. Although a little farther out from many of the main attractions in Barcelona and from public transportation, I would recommend the hotel. It was an easy walk to shopping and the attractions we wanted to see, like the Gaudi House. The room was clean and ready when we arrived. Most importantly, the morning wake up call came as requested and the cab we requested for our ride to the airport was downstairs waiting for us as we checked out, just be sure to request a cab call the night before though.
“It is a confortable Hotel.”
Zenit Hotel has a modern room design. The rooms are nice and clean.
“Barcelona's best hotel”
Everything was wonderful. The staff was friendly, the hotel was recently renovated in a very artistically way, and the hotel restaurant was of highest quality. Location is ideal for tourism/shopping. I would definitely recommend to everyone who visits Barcelona.
