“Audrius”
be careful if you are with car - 24 EURO/day parking for hotel customers, 40% room price. BE CAREFUL IF YOU HAVE LAPTOP COMPUTER, because you will pay for Internet access 12 euro/day. In the room a lot humidity, even it looks clean... NOT RECOMMENDED if you wish comfortable stay for long time, for one night is OK !!! I have seen much more better 3 star hotel. this one is AWFUL!! ---P.S. staff very good speaks in english, quite helpful, pleasant, thanks for them.
“Awefull front desk service”
Everytime I asked for something, (like where to rent a car, directions to Illes Medes, the stuff at the front desk always told us to look thru the brochures. When I asked if they can call and help with reservations they suggested I purchare an hour on the hotel internet to do it myself.... When I did it turned out the websites were not loading or were only in spanish. When I asked for help again, I was given an address of the rental place and told I can visit there and make my reservations. (and since that was my first time in Barcelona, I didn't realize that the branch would be closed 1pm-4pm. So, all together I wasted 2 hours on commute both ways, almost 3 hours waiting for the place to reopen, to just find out they didn't have cars available.... When I asked about the commute to the airport I was also told they don't know and that I can ask the turist information locatted in center city..... Fortunately, all other places I stayed at in Spain and has much more helpful stuff at the front desk, including hostels.
“Helpful front desk”
The location of the hotel is close to the Metro. The front desk was extremely helpful. The breakfast buffet was okay. My room always smelt musty when I entered it. The price of the room and the room itself are not a good reflection in terms of value. It is kind of chinchy to be charging for wifi at those prices.
“good price to quality ratio”
This hotel is good, a three-star, with no luxuries. Just what I needed. It is in a traditional (good) neighborhood with a good location. If you take a taxi you can get to paseo de gracia street in ten to fifteen minutes, which is very nice. If you have the time and energy, you can walk there, it is a good 45 min walk. Plus the hotel has a parking lot right next door, which is very hard to find in Barcelona. The breakfast is ok and the service from hotel employees was acceptable (though not great). In summary this hotel is quite adequate for the price they charge.
“Nice place”
Nice hotel, clean and neat. Staff was friendly, and rooms were spacious. Its location is great, a very short walk to the nearest metro station, which is a short distance away from the downtown area. Would definitely recommend.
“Great location,”
helpful staff , close to metro good internet access and everthing we needed except a kettle.
“Excellent Hotel”
Hotel Ronda Lesseps is located in a great neighborhood close to Parc Guell and Metro station Lesseps. The hotel is very modern and well decorated. The staff was very helpful. I am definitely stay in this hotel if I go back to Barcelona.
“Decent hotel in quaint part of Barcelona”
We wanted to be near our son, and this was the closest hotel. It is on par with economy hotels in the U.S. There were no amenities like ice or shampoo. However, the room was clean and temperate. The beds were extremely firm for my liking. I have never traveled to Europe before, so I don't know if this is the norm.
“Still have backache!”
Hotel was very clean and very convenient for the metro, which we used constantly and only took about 8 minutes to get to The Ramblas. The one huge drawback was the beds ..... they were so hard and so uncomfortable, not at all what you need after a full day and evening out.
“A perfectly located reasonable hotel in Barcelona”
The hotel is reasonable priced and you get what you expect. We had some negative experience at the beginning, but otherwise we were satisfied. The room was comfortable. The hairdryer was not working when we arrived and although we reported it at the reception nobody fixed it for 2 days, but we were moved to a bigger (and probably more expensive) room on 2nd day instead. There is no minibar (fridge) in the room so there's no way to have a cool drink at night in the hot weather. The neighbourhood of the hotel is quiet, mostly local people, no tourists. The location of the hotel is just perfect. It is next to Lesseps metro station, so in 10-15 minutes you are in downtown at famous sights. Parc Güell and La Pedrera are in walking distance. We did not try the breakfast at hotel. There's a perfect coffee shop nearby, where you can have excellent breakfast for half of the hotel price. There are a lot of nice bars, terraces and restaurants in a few minutes walk from the hotel. We recommend this hotel for those who do not need luxury, but rather good value for money and who prefer a quiet environment without many tourists, but a place still close to the attractions and vivid places.
