“Recommend this hotel”
First class hotel, near Spanish Square. Friendly staff who speak good english, really good food, comfortable large room and we were given a free upgrade. Tour buses stop nearby, has all the amenities, and has a superb breakfast buffet - book with room and save money.
“great experience at Fire Palace Barcelona”
I was very impressed with the hotel and would most definitely recommend it to everyone! The staff were very helpful, efficient and friendly and spoke fluent English, the location is just perfect to access all main attractions of Barcelona on foot or by underground (Poble Sec station is 5 miniutes walk from the holtel). The room was very clean, spacious and well equipped, with an electronic safe and there was internet access on 3 computers in the lobby. The only slight minus was the gym, which we found a bit small but it did have all the equipment you need for a good workout.
“Extremely comfortable stay”
Staff very friendly and welcoming and willing to help with questions. Could not have asked for better. Situation for us perfect. Plaza Espana and metro very close and Magic Fountain a delight. Plan to return soon.
“Impressed with this hotel”
Very clean and spacious modern hotel in quiet, pleasant area. Our room was large and well equipped with lovely bathroom. Located very close to magic fountains and Montjuic with some nice walks from the hotel. Easy to get to the more central areas (eg La Rambla)via the Espanya metro which is very efficient and easy to use. A few nice restaurants close by but for more choice you would need to go more central. Nice little pattiserie across the road which we found very handy. We didn't use hotel dining facilities so cannot comment on these. Overall a great hotel - we would stay there again.
“No complaints”
Hotel was great, use of indoor pool and gym, fantastic breakfast, quiet neighbourhood, 15 mins from airport by taxi, 5 minute walk from metro. Location good for Montjuic area and metro will take you anywhere else although not good if beach is main reason for visit.
“great Hotel”
the hotel and facilities were excellent and of a very high standard. Friendly and professional with a smile. Rooms were very spacious and comfortable. The only downside was the fact the Hotel is some distance from the main centre but overall very happy and would definately recommend this hotel to any one that likes some walking.

“A wonderful place to stay”
We enjoyed every aspect of the Fira Palace. The reception and public areas are elegant and airy; the restaurant is friendly and serves excellent food with real flair; and our room was super comfortable and well equipped. We swam in the pool which was very clean and attractive and we used the bar on a couple of ocasions for an evening drink. The location near to Placa d'Espanya , the Montjuic and the Magic Fountain is perfect. Faultless!!
“Clean, comfortable and a great location”
We booked the Fira Palace for a four day break in Barcelona during Auguust. Our children (12 & 14) were keen for a swimming pool and it did not disappoint. The rooms were clean and extremely spacious with half an hour free wi-fi per day. Parking was located under the hotel and was cheap and convenient which was important for us as we were driving from France. The only downside was the food. We had not intended to eat at the hotel as there are so many great places in the city but exhaustion set in one night as we decided to stay put. There was only the option of a very poor and expensive buffet on site which we declined. Fortunately the piano bar did sandwiches and these served the purpose. This proved to be the only negative in what was an excellent stay in a good hotel with friendly and helpful staff- we would definitely recommend it.
“Quality place, indifferent location but worth staying at”
I booked this hotel at the last minute to be in Barcelona to watch Arsenal. We were impressed. Positives - the service, the room was large and clean, descent decor. Negatives - we never found the metro station, and therefore, ended up taking taxis (having said that, the hotel is only a short ride from Las Ramblas etc.)
