“Nice hotel, shame about the noise.”

Small hotel, with minimal services (which was fully expected), but close to the centre and to transport links. The room was comfortable, clean, and well presented. The big "but" was the noise. Maybe it was just our room, but we could hear every word spoken next door - possibly due to the arrangement of the air-conditioning ducts. We developed an intimate knowledge of our Italian neighbours' baby rearing methods and toilet routines. Presumably they could hear us equally well. The was also no sound deadening textiles in the corridor, so they echoed every time somebody called to their friend or walked along the corridor in high heels. A shame.

The hotel was excellent value.The staff on the reception desk were all extremely friendly and very helpful.The hotel was very modern and spotlessly clean.24 hour free coffee facilities were a bonus.The location was in a good area with a supermarket almost next door with good produce(and a good little cafe in the entrance,ideal if you do not want to have breakfast in the hotel) Location approx 15-20 mins walk from Place de Catalunya (Hub for most things going on)Plenty of suitable eating places at approx 10 euros for 2-3 courses. Overall good citybreak and can recommend hotel(especially if you play golf and want to practise your chip shots and putting)

“Would definitely stay here again”

I stayed here with my teenage son and we were both happy with our stay. We had not planned on having breakfast as a previous reviewer had said that it was expensive for what it was. However, it was on special offer for our four days stay, and it was well worth the money - I thought the coffee was superb! My son really enjoyed the fact that he could eat as much as he wanted! The free internet was very useful for contacting our family whilst we were there - a nice touch. The hotel itself is in a really nice area; as a woman travelling with a teenager, I felt very safe. Bus stops are just around the corner, but we only used these when we wanted to go further afield because we preferred to walk almost everywhere. Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel. I would also like to highlight the cleanliness of the hotel, which was excellent, and the friendliness of the staff. No question was too much trouble, they were fantastic when we needed help with getting around Barcelona and did not mind making some phone calls for us. If I visited Barcelona again, I would stay here again.

The only bad note that I can mention is the very poor noise isolation. Either from the next room and from the corridor.

Nice hotel, clean, quiet. Breakfast a bit poor. Not located in straight city ceter. Around 500m to nearest metro station.

“clean, efficient, and comfortable”

After staying there in 2002, I returned to Hotel Medium Confort in April 2009. This is a clean, reasonably priced boutique hotel located in a working area town next to a supermarket. All the major tourist locations are easy bus rides away. I would definitely consider staying there again, but would love it even more if it was near the train station.

“Just to be short and precise”

- excellent localization (near to all interesting places) - wireless internet - fair price (also for breakfast) - ...hm...room was a little bit too small, but who stays at hotel while being at BCN?! :-) (I will take the same next time)

“Das BW Confort Golf Hotel ist ein absolut empfehlenswertes Hotel!”

Wir waren 5 Tage/4 Nächte im BWCG Barcelona. Um es kurz zu sagen: Nettes Personal, unmittelbare Nähe zu den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln (Bus, Metro) und somit zu allen Sehenswürdigkeiten und zur Innenstadt inkl. Strand, schöne zweckmäßige Zimmer, gutes ausreichendes Frühstück, Kaffee for free etc. Absolut empfehlenswert.
