“Hotel Amister - Barcelona”

Positives 1. Very clean. 2. Staff was very helpful. 3. On way back, they checked us into the room 3 hours hourly. 4. They bring a complimentary platter of fruits to the room. 5. Cab ride to La Rambla is 10min or 7 euros. Cabs are available outside the hotel. Negatives We asked them to arrange a cab from the airport and we paid 65 euros. It is simpler to take a cab from or to the airport and it costs less than 30 euros with 4 big bags. This is disappointing. Overall a great experience, will stay there again.

Very nice hotel, helpful and professional staff. Clean, well kept and beautiful hotel and a pleasant stay. Close to dominos for English tourists who love pizza, local shop just around the corner and not too far away from a metro station to get you to all the main attractions. Would stay again!

“Excellent location and standard of hotel”

My girlfriend (on crutches) and I stayed for 6 nights in June 2012. Excellent standard of service, the rooms were lovely and the bathroom and bed huge. Tv and free wifi, fridge and custom key code safe. English speaking staff. Windows kept all the noise outside. Air conditioning. Easy access to all hotel floors via the two lifts. Opens onto avenue d'roma, which is a pleasant 10-15 minute walk from the centre of town. Going the other way for two blocks is the metro stop 'hospital clinic' which is on the same line as sagrada d'familia, but a quick change gets you into town. We didn't eat or have breakfast at the hotel, so can't comment on the food. Recommended

“Comfortable stay in Barcelona”

The hotel was conveniently located close to the Sants station- less than ten minutes walk. We found the hotel staff to be extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was reasonably priced. We would consider staying in this hotel again.

“Clean modern Barcelona style”

This hotels' rooms are clean and have a modern design. Nice lighting, CD player, great TV with many channels,interesting lobby art, and is just a comfortable place you need after a long day of sight-seeing. There is a nice 4 blk. trek to the underground. Very quiet neighborhood.

I really loved this hotel, it's very nice and convenient. The personel is very friendly and helpful. I higly recommend this hotel and I definetely will visit them in my future trip to Europe.

“Really good hotel - I'd stay there again”

Well located hotel - felt safe, even walkig around at night. Close to Barcelona Sants train station so easily accessible for Barcelona Airport. Also close to several metro stations so easy to get to tourist hot spots such as La Ramblas, Sagrada Familia, Montjuic etc. If you are feeling energtic, you can walk to most places (took us less that an hour to walk to Sagrada Familia) and you get to see more of the city on foot. The hotel looks like it is on busy road but actually very quiet at night. A little bit of traffic noise in the morning. Clean and stylishly furbished rooms. Staff are efficient and friendly. Overall, I would recommend this hotel and would happily stay there again if I returned to Barcelona.

what a fantastic hotel with a beautiful luxury room at a brilliant price, the cleanliness was of an exceptional standard the power shower was a dream and the staff were very friedly and more than helpful.Theres plenty to do and lots to see in this beautiful city and very quick and easy to get around, this city and hotel is well worth a visit we will be deffinately returning.
