“I would stay there again”

My only low satisfaction with this hotel was the location. it was a bit far from any Metro station, Bus Touristico stops, and tourist destination bus stops. They were very good about having taxi's available in the morning's and their hospitality was great. If you decide to stay be prepared to walk to take the metro or bus or take a taxi.

Area recommendations

Barrio Gotico has the old spanish environment. Las Ramblas, of course is very interesting for people watching and shopping.

“Sorry to leave”

This hotel was even better than expected. The room was first class, the view over Barcelona was great, the location was good and the bus and metro services are a short walk. Any down side was hard to find but if I'm being really picky the barman could have cracked a smile occasionally!

Area recommendations

Business area - it gets away from the bustle of the Ramblas and gives access to good shops and restaurants.

“convenient and comfortable in the center of Barcelona”

really liked the location, wanted to go out one evening to "luz de gas" and it's just across the street.. the room was comfortable and very quiet. i would definitely stay there again.

“Barcelona”

The staff were helpful and I was able to get an early check-in at 10am. I would stay there again. There are nice restaurants in the area and a 24hr convenience store nearby.

“Great location and really helpful professional front desk staff”

I would go back to this hotel. The staff were lovely. We arrived to find everything in place and a warm welcome. Our room power went out within an hour of us arriving. We were upgraded as a result to a junior suite. Perfect stay thereafter. My only small gripe was the lack of choice on the dinner menu. Perfect locatio with good places to eat, drink and shop close at hand. Found a funny little cafe across the street which did lovely cheese toasties in the morning.

“A bit of a walk, but great hotel.”

Booked superior room for my husband's 40th - beautiful! Issue with neighbors from hell; two phone calls to reception about booming music after midnight, then a trip in person to reception led to a room upgrade (Junior Suite) and complementary wine & chocolates. Was somewhat mollified as they were supportive and apologetic. Bit of a trek to the 'heart' of all the action, but buses outside the door alleviated this. Approx 30 mins brisk walk to the beach, 20 to Las Rambles. Have to say I liked being a step away from the bustle and around the corner from a Starbucks! I feel this hotel deserves its 4* status - the rooms were in top condition and the shower was amazing! Didn't dine there so no comments about the food. P.S. If you've never been to Barecelona - you really should!

Area recommendations

Las Rambles if you want the noise and excitement of the markets; Catalonia is where many of the museums are and about 5-10 mins from the beach. This hotel was kind of central to both areas but more on the outskirts - great for peace, but not too far from night life.

“Great Find!”

Great hotel for the price. Room was big and comfortable. The bathroom was very modern and huge. Love the two sinks and all the amenities. Will definitely stay ther again if I ever go back to visit .

Great time in Barcelona - get the Barcelona card on days you do not use the get/ on /get off bus - worth doing! Hotel was good, easy walk from metro or buses!
