“H10 everytime”

The staff were excellent, always courteous and helpful. Unfortunately the airconditioning didn't work correctly and neither the fridge in the room, however this did not spoil our stay and I would definitely stay again on my next visit.

“Good midprice hotel”

This is an attrative and well maintained hotel in a residential neighborhood. It is walking distance to the main train station, which has connections by train and bus to the airport. It is also near (3 blocks) from subway and on several frequent bus routes. It is too far for most people to walk to the tourist attractions, but Barcelona is a spread out city so you will probably take the subway no matter where you stay. However, if you are only staying a day or two and you wish to focus on the Ramblas and waterfront, you may find this hotel is too far out. Public rooms are very attractive. Staff is helpful and speak English. Two free internet terminals in lobby. Front of hotel faces busy street; back of hotel faces small park and apartment buildings. It is quiet after children go home for supper. My only complaint was that room was small and only had desk chair, no arm chair for relaxing or reading. Bath was large and attractive. Breakfast looked wonderful, but it cost 14 Euros so I ate at cafe. Many shops, including large grocery, and cafes nearby. Few full service restaurants within walking distance.

“Good hotel/good price”

Everything is great, the only bad thing is the housekeeping maid who starts her shift making noise at 8 am !

“Strong recommended”

A very clean and nice hotel. The room looks exactly like the picture. The staff speaks fluent English and gives all the information we need. The buffet breakfast is superior. We will come back again.

“Almost ideal and nicely situated hotel H-10 Itaca”

Hotel H-10 Itaca is almost ideal for a person who doesn't need any special HOTEL related life but, rather, prefers wandering around the city. The Hotel is nicely situated: from the Airport, Renfe brings you to Barcelona Sants, then minutes of walking; from the city, metro brings you to Sants Estacio, then minutes of walking; to go to Figueres (Salvador Dali's Museum), just minutes of walking, then take a train at Barcelona Sants. As it always happens, in the evening, the swimming pool and gym are closed, which is still survivable.

“Just for 1 night OK, good quality for price at the actual discount”

This is not a 4 star hotel, the room is good, but too small for 4 stars. Nice room decoration. The elevators are very slow. Service at the reception is good.

“Small, stylish a little bit far away from 'the entertaınment zone' but fine”

After reaching the hotel things started to get better, the guys at the reception were very friendly and helpful. My room was so small, it wouldn't be possible to stay if I was not alone. The hotel was clean and tidy overall. The breakfast was perfect, waitresses were very kind. The location is fine but not at the heart of the city, you have to walk or take a cab.

“Beautiful Hotel - Hard Beds”

I would highly recommend this hotel, with one caveat - the beds are extremely hard, so ask them to fold blankets and put them between your bottom sheet and the mattress. The front desk told me that all of the mattresses were the same, so I do not think that this was just a function of our room. Other than that, the hotel was beautiful, it had two computers that were free for guests to use - very nice for double checking addresses, etc. of restaurants.
