“Great Location...Would stay here again!”
I was very happy with this hotel pick! It was at a great location in the Gothic part of town right around the corner from the Cathedral of Barcelona...walk a short distance to La Rambla. The room was modern decor and just perfect for us. Very clean. The people at the hotel were very helpful and super nice.
“Good sized room and bathroom, excellent breakfast”
A decent boutique hotel, not luxurious, but quiet and comfortable. Breakfast very good, pastry tray and fried eggs in a skillet. Didn't like the coffee - nescafe, but everything else good. Suffers from bedroom doors that let in noise from the corridor but that is true of most Spanish hotels - keep the fan on overnight to avoid being woken up. No road noise. Overall I would recommend this hotel - in a great location near to the cathedral (not the Gaudi one).
“Barcelona home”
We stayed for 4 nights at this hotel and really enjoyed our stay. There were no negatives. We especially enjoyed the pool after long days spent walking around this beautiful city discovering it.
“ONE OF THE BEST HOTELS...”
this is the most satisfying stay in our whole european trip this year. the staff are very helpful, special mention to ORIOL, in the front desk/reception. the room is clean and have a minimalist interior which is very pleasing. the lobby is comfortable and clean. the location is absolutely the best, requiring very little amount of walking to important sites and shops. barcelona catedral is nearby and the las ramblas area where it is located is the "in" place to go to in barcelona. for those who love to shop, there is an array of shops to choose from within a few steps here and there. during the weekends, this area is so festive with almost all the residents and tourists alike present. we would definitely recommend this hotel to all travelers thinking of barcelona as destination.
“Excellent Hotel, Excellent Location”
Excellent location with easy access to all parts of Barcelona, beautifully surrounded by the historic catedral and old narrow streets. Excellent roof top pool facilities for taking in the hot spanish sun. Very helpful staff and always willing to help.
“Great hotel right by Cathedral”
I was very happy with this hotel. The staff was very helpful The location was great. The hotel was very clear and the rooms very comfortable. I will definitely stay here again.
“excellent location and very good hotel”
a 5-15 minute walk to almost everything\; nice hotel with pool and nice rooms.
“Memorable stay”
We had disembarked from our cruise around 8.15 a.m. and taken a taxi to the hotel but due to the visit of Pope Benedick we had to walk from Las Ramblas (not an issue). When we arrived at the hotel (around 9 a.m.) there was full security (including x-ray) in the reception, again due to the Pope's visit. The high level of security remained until the Pope left Barcelona on the Sunday but did not hinder with our stay. Our room was available and the reception staff were excellent, apologized for the inconvenience of the security. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay of 3 nights; room was modern and very clean. The staff were friendly and very helpful, including when I had an issue with one of their computers. Look forward to staying at the Barcelona Catedral when we next visit Barcelona. We did not have breakfast included but there are several excellent cafes in the Placa de la Seu area.
“Bad experience, they charge your credit card in your back”
Nice Hotel and good location. Bedroom and lobby very clean and design. Comfortable bed, spacious bathroom. You can visit the historic center and Cathedral with any car. The problem with this hotel is the honesty. They charge your credit card in your back. They told us that it was about a small bottle of Cognac that we didn't drink. They don't consider that they make a mistake or that hotel workers make a mistake, or that the previous Customer didn't pay his bottle. They charged €12 on m'y crédit card and didn't care of my complaint. I visited several times this hotel with my Family and Friends. They don't have any respect and thank you for a returned customer. For them you can go away.....
“Good hotel”
Very nice front desk staff and clean, comfy hotel. The city center area in Barcelona can be pricey and its difficult to find a nice hotel for a good price. But I think we got lucky. Furnishings are modern basic, but nice. And the free internet in the lobby doesn't hurt. I would go back.

Ciutat Vella, Barcelona, Spain: Barcelona's Old Town, the Ciutat Vella takes in the Barri Gòtic and the world-famous promenade of Las Ramblas. The former is the city's medieval core, a maze of atmospheric alleyways clustered around the splendid Gothic Cathedral. Quirky specialist shops and characterful bars and eateries abound. Don't miss the Museu Picasso and the Museu d'Història de la Ciutat, as much for their palatial settings as their content.
