Great view, but a hike to get it!

Agora BCN was a fine dorm-room experience for a night. It was a hike to get there from the subway system (especially when carrying luggage) and the room was sufficient and clean enough-- nothing more. Breakfast is included, which was a plus and it's set on a very pretty hill. If your hotel room is just for showering, sleeping and you don't mind taking the subway to your sight-seeing destinations and hiking up a hill, then this is a fine budget hotel option.

A Dorm Room

Posted 29-Sep-2013
Cons: We feel they used false advertising Don't use the word Hotel in the name and then say it is not.
Location: The hotel was off the beaten path, about a ten minute walk from the metro. it was surrounded by other university buildings.
We were led to believe this was a HOTEL somehow related. To the university Imagine our sirose to find a DORM room with single beds. It was clean and reasonably attractive. The shower was large. On our third day we asked for a clean towel. We learned this would come with an extra charge since this was not really a motel. Food was served in the school cafeteria, typical college food, lots of starch, little protein. Sometimes it was edible.
