“Great location”

Service is excellent at this hotel: attentive front desk speaking english easily. Outside the front door to the left less than 1 km is La Rambla. Easy eating less than a block away and the breakfast is excellent at the attached restaurant. Gaudi nearby and the Catalana Square easy distance by foot. Elevator is very slow, but it's an incentive to use the stairs.

“Excellent location”

The best thing about this hotel is its location. It is close to all transport links and to shops, restaurants and bars. The room was clean and quiet and fairly comfortable (although completely lacking in drawer space). The hotel has no public lounge to speak of, the dining room did not appeal and the swimming pool was minute. If you are looking for a reasonably priced base from which to explore Barcelona, this is a great hotel. If you are looking for a more opulent city experience, it isn't!

“Good hotel in convenient location”

Fairly good and comfortable hotel in convenient location. Rooms were a little on the small side but comfortable for what we needed. Breakfast was 12 euro - a little expensive, we thought so got coffee and croissant on our own. There is a very small pool in the basement. Not worth going to for the size. 5 minutes from the Passeig de Gracia subway. There is a Europcar one block down on the same street if needed.

Area recommendations

For families with young children - would recommend the Zoo and Aquarium. We did Circle bus tour for 2 days. For the audio tour and convenience, I would recommend.

“Acta Atrium Palace - Barcelona - Great Hotel!!!”

I strongly recommend this Hotel for anyone visiting Barcelona and we would definitely stay there again. The rooms were modern, clean and service was excellent. The Hotel's greatest asset is Location, Location Location. Bang in the centre of town close to all the shops and restaurants!!!

“Good hotel & location in Barcelona”

Good mid size hotel less than 30 mins from the airport in a great location for site seeing and close to La Rambla & shops, also convenient for city site seeing bus tour stops which are close to the hotel. Room was not overly large but adequate, the bed was firm but comfortable. The Front desk staff were polite, spoke good English and were helpful. Free wireless connection.

“Charm of Acta Atrium Palace”

My wife and I stayed at this hotel for a few days prior to taking a cruise, then again upon our return. The staff was extremely helpful, warm, and friendly, not to mention spoke excellent english. I would highly recommend this hotel again and if we ever go to Barcelona again, we will definitely stay at the same place.

“OUTSTANDING~~!!”

This hotel could not have been better in many respects! The staff was efficient, friendly and helpful, the rooms were well appointed and more than adequate, the breakfast was extremely well done and provided a great start to a couple of busy days of touring the beautiful city of Barcelona! The only glich was a noisy school yard that impacted daytime napping but we turned that into a positive by enjoying the vibrant and busy courtyard and taking some wonderful pictures of the activities ensuing there! We will not only recommend this hotel but will return at another time!

“Really nice Hotel”

Well located two minute walk to main square,lots of restaurants and bars,very friendly staff ,had a few issues resolved instantly very happy with this hotel had been reccomended by friend who also had four other friends stay. could do with more english tv channels and tea making facility.

“Barcelona - long weekend”

I took my wife away for a long weekend and it was fantastic. Lovely hotel. Loads to do, romantic, amazing food. History was interesting. Zagrada familiar is a must see

“Great location & great breakfast!!”

We were delightred with the hotel and its staff were extremeley helpful. Breakfast was excellent and we would recommend it to anyone. One minor complaint - the room was very warm and we could not control the temperature.
