“Highly Recommended”
Had a 10 day delightful stay at Turtle Beach. Rooms are a good size and clean. Restaurants are good with plenty of choice at the buffet and the a la carte meals. The waterfront restuarant in particular was excellent for both lunch and the a la carte dinner. All the staff were very friendly and nothing appeared to be too much trouble for them. Evening entertainment was quite good although did finish a little early. Overall a delightful hotel and would recommend it. Would be very happy to go back, although there are lots more places in the world to see.
“simply the best!”
What a fantastic holiday - lovely hotel, modern facilities, very friendly staff, well appointed room with a great view of pool and sea. A good choice of food and wow what a range of cocktails! Basically one of the best hotels I've stayed in. Not a lot of nightlife after 11pm - but near St lawrence gap if you needed some action.
“Very good hotel and resort.”
Went all inclusive to this hotel and overall very impressed. Rooms are comfortable and well maintained, equipped and comfortable. I had a junior suite with pool view and was fine. Food was good choices - from buffets to the Italian, and on tap branded drinks available all day, which was excellent due to heat. Main things to note that will help people: 1. The Kids Club is excellent - opens 9am - 9pm and is very well run. So if you have kids under 12 and want some adult time (for evening meals, a few drinks, etc), it makes a big difference. The hotel is very family friendly 2. It has Fox Soccer channel as standard on bar and TVs in rooms :) 3. It is set away from Bridgetown so is a taxi / bus ride if you go out of resort 4. Beach and water sports are excellent 5. Staff are all friendly and helpful - makes a big difference! 6. Evening music entertainment is fine - no night club / dance bit on site so if you are looking to go clubbing, you go off site. But type of person at this hotel tends not to be the clubbing type 7. Most residents are UK or US (Oct-Nov was my date of stay) Overall, definitely a place to stay if you have kids and want a trouble free hotel that is all inclusive!!
“"A Great Time was had!!"”
I thought the hotel was very nice and accomendating. The food was good and plentiful. The suite was nicely located with a great view of the ocean. I would definitely go back!!
“loved it”
beautiful, well maintained, clean hotel. Friendly staff. Excellent food! (and being from NYC that is quite the compliment) Great drinks (rums). However at times you could find yourself waiting on a small line to either be seated for dinning or for a drink. nothing greater then 5-10 minute wait though. beautiful beach - white sand, no seaweed growth or coral in swimming area. Reserve your lounge chair early with friendly staff. Although all inclusive, I do highly recommend taking a short 10 minute walk down St. Lawrence Gap which has many bars and awesome waterfront restaurants. I highly recommend and if I traveled to the same hotel more then once, I would definitly go back to this one.
“Best of Barbados”
The Turtle Beach Resort gave my boyfriend and I an excellent first time experience in Barbados. The staff was unbelievably helpful, attentive, accommodating, and consistently pleasant. They made our stay a wonderful one not to mention the resort itself was paradise. We loved the entire facility and our room was also perfect.
“good time”
Everyone was very nice, the food was good. I dont recomend the spa. room was good.
“Barbados”
This was our first trip to Barbados and I was not disappointed at all. The hotel was very nice. There was a large variety of foods served, which satisfied everyone in the family. The beach was gorgeous. The staff helped you with chairs, towels, drinks and water activities. There were no rocks at all on the beach and the waves gave the kids hours of entertainment.
“We want to go back!”
This was one of the best all-inclusive experiences we have had. A large part of this was due to the friendliness and professionalism of virtually all the staff. Our suite was spacious and had a great view of the pool area and beyond it, the ocean. It had a very attractive balcony, and the sound insulation from neighboring suites was excellent. A-la-carte dining in the evenings was of a high quality, and the breakfast buffet was very good. Perhaps the lunch menus could stand a little more variety. A unique feature, in our experience, is the waterfront sports management team led by Captain Sam! Always a lounger ready for your use, and lots of activities to enjoy if you want them. Then there are the rum punches and Barbadian beers that can be obtained on demand! What more could you ask?!! Oh yes....two excellent tennis courts as well!
“A wonderful getaway”
The entire experience was lovely. The staff were attentive, the food was delicious, the beach luxuriously soft, and the entertainment top-notch
