“A Slice of affordable paradise”
First time in the Caribbean on honeymoon and we are smitten. We stayed in room 7 - which was very comfortable and cleaned every day to a high standard. The room also opens onto the pool side area and covered seating overlooking the sea which at sunset is beautiful. The staff were more than helpful and help to make this hotel a little gem. Downside - The restaurant - which is a separate business to the hotel is very expensive,($75 for a $8 bottle of wine) although the food is very good you can still get the same standard elsewhere at half the price. Take the ten night deal as breakfast was free and a day on their catamaran & swimming with turtles is included. I cant recommend the hotel high enough
“will definately visit a third time. can't wait to go back”
If you are looking for a small boutique hotel with no kids, great food, great staff in lovely surroundings then this is for you. It was our second trip and we were not disappointed. The rooms are superb and they have thought of every thing. The beach oppersite is great as it as a good amount of shade to escape the mid day sun as well as being recognised as one of the best beaches on the island. It is a great location with easy access by taxi or bus to bridgetown. I would recommend hiring a car to explore so you can do things at your own pace. This can also be arranged by the hotel. We love it here!!
“Gem of a Hotel”
The minute you set foot into the hotel you feel relaxed. Nothing is to much trouble for any of the staff who make you feel so welcome. This was a return visit for us and the second visist was as good as the first.. The accomodation is exactly as described on the Little Arches web site. The rooms are spacious and individually fashioned. The restaurant, Cafe Luna, which is on the roof top with stunning views and lovely ambience is a must. Price wise it is at the higher end of the market but the location and standard of food is well worth the price. The hotel is positioned opposite a beautiful beach on a no through road, 5 min walk from Oistens, at which you must experience the Friday night Fish Fry and 10 minute taxi drive to St Lawrence Gap if you prefer a busier nightlife. We hired a car through the hotel for a couple of days so that we could see the whole island. At the time of our stay the car hire was very good value for money as if you hired for 2 days you got a 3rd day free. However, local transport is very easy to use. The government buses and private owners who operate the route taxi's and minibuses (ZR's) charge BBD$1.50 per ride for ANY part of the idea. Don't be put off by them sounding their horns everytime they pass you it's their way of checking to see if you want picking up. We will definitely be making a third visit to this hotel, it is a complete "Chill out" experience.
“Friendliest stay in great accommodation”
Despite the fact that the hotel is about to refurbished and facilities upgraded, Little Arches was a very comfortable place to stay. It provides a high class of accommodation. The food in the Luna bar was excellent and provides beautiful sea views. The location is great, within easy reach of Oistins (a few minutes’ walk to the fish market), the gardens were extremely well maintained and you are across a very quiet road from the sea and beach. The one thing that really makes Little Arches stand out is the first class customer service and the most helpful and friendly staff you could ever wish to meet.
