“Excellent accomodation, Excellent helpful staff,Beautiful beach and gardens”
My stay was in connection with my daughter's wedding. This is a truely beautiful hotel, with helpful polite staff very attentive to your every request. I preferred the buffet meals in both Reflections Restaurant and the more casual Drifters Restaurant as you could choose exactly what you wanted rather than the more formal waitress served meals. Even on the beach Stephen the Beach Waiter never rested in bringing drinks, chilled fresh fruit and Ice cream to your sun lounger, will definitely return to this tropical paradise

EXCELLLENT
“Recommended for a great holiday”
We have just returned from 10 fantastic days with loads of brilliant memories from a very well run hotel. We had an ocean view room also over-looking Drifters beach bar and restaurant which was spotless and promptly cleaned every day - we did suffer a plumbing leak discovered at 5.40am which was repaired and cleared up by 8am the same morning. The huge bed was comfortable with the sheets changed every 2nd day, towels daily including 2 for the beach left in your room. We dined everyday at Reflections - there was a good selection at breakfast with something for everbody although too much reliant upon tinned fruit at times. Evening meal was a la carte with 4 options for starter, main and sweet - it was good to see dress standards enforced. It is necessary to book each evening - each Wednesday offers buffett style - Italian and Mexican during our stay. There is the alternative option of Drifters with a more relaxed dress code which also offered a varied choice. Service throughout was excellent including a smile. Both restuarants offered lunch but we tended to use Drifters which offers a good choice. We spent most of out time on the sandy beach with it's plentiful supply of beds and umbrellas - drinks, fruit and ice-creams are delivered to your sun bed. The sea is a bit rocky in places - take a pair of swimming shoes. The free water sports are excellent and varied. Beach sellers can be a nusiance but do not detract from a great place to relax. Would come back without hesitation.
“can't wait to go back”
Crystal Cove is AWESOME!Would definitely recommend to anyone.Food was excellent & elegant-service was excellent-staff was very attentive & polite.Atmosphere was absolutey perfect and there was an oceanview from everywhere.Would recommend to any couples looking for a romantic getaway. Very knowledgeable bartenders! Our only recommendation to the hotel would be to have food and drink service available later into the evening. Restrauants were closed by 10:00 pm and bars by 11:30 pm. We were comfortable enough with our surroundings to leave the resort at night & take a city bus into a local town for their weekly fresh fish fry.We were recommend taking a taxi if you decide to do that instead the bus.All in all this was the BEST trip we have ever taken!
“Good quality resort”
We found this to be an excellent all round enjoyable experience for our honeymoon:-) Excellent room - clean and tidy room. Excellent staff, all willing to help and advise. Great tasting food, drink and plentiful. Good selection of free water sports. We paid extra for the jet ski. Only grip is the second restaurant 'Cutters' which is outside and prone to flying birds after the good tasting food....lol Gym facilities were good. Evening entertainment during dinner not great but there were bands on occasions playing which was nice. During our time there were a mix of couples and small families at the resort. We were able to book a free courtesy room for 30min before the taxi arrived to freshen up as we had a late flight and were able to use the resort facilities at no extra cost until we left. Excellent resort and thoroughly enjoyed out time there.
“Great place for Honeymoon”
Only went for 5 nights so didn't want to leave the complex. Food, service and room was fantastic. Although you are limited to only two resturants the hotel mix the menu's really well. We had a sea view room and enjoyed watching the great sunsets. All the water sports are included but you do have to book some the day before. If you want a place to go away enjoy great food, sandy beach and water sports this is the place for you. We are planning on going back with the kids next time. Also a must is a trip to swim with the turtles. We paid $50 each for a 3 hour trip which was fantastic (don't forget to take a under water camera)
“Fun Time”
this hotel was more for younger people considering the amount of stairs that are throughout the property. The beach was very large and they offered an array of water sport activities which was fun. Noisy hotel but overall we had a good experience staying here.
“We loved it so much we are going back”
This is the first time travelling to Barbados. Wow! from the moment you are dropped off at Crystal Cove you are greated with a very warm welcome and smile. You do not have to wait at reception on arrival to check in. Instead you are taken to the seating lounge and are offered a rum or fruit punch with the most spectacular views of the greens and blues of the sea, and if you arrive late in the day you are also greated by a beautiful sunset. The staff - by the way are amazing - When you have relaxed and enjoyed your welcoming drink, you are then shown to your room. The porters make you feel very at home. You do have to make reservations at Reflections for your evening meal. This is not a problem at all. Breakfast and lunch is also served at Reflections so while your are eating during the day just make your reservation for the evening. If you are eating at Reflections - for the "Gents" you are required to wear long trousers and shirts or polo shirts.(No Shorts, T-shirts or open toe shoes) and for the "Laddies" dresses, long trousers. (No flip flops - T-shirts). For breakfast and lunch is very casual. You can also eat outside for lunch and your evening meal. You are overlooking the beach. This is casual wear. Please note that you will need mosquito spray, creams, wrist bands. During the day on the beach you will be brought drinks, fresh fruit salad, lolly ices. There is plenty of free water sports for the family. Beach towels supplied every day, hair dryer in the bathroom.
“Older than expected, but nice by Barbados standards”
At first i was a little disappointed with the hotel as i felt it was a little old and needed some maintenance - others had expressed the same opinion to me on the resort. However, most places in Barbados seemed quite run down and Crystal Cove was definitely in better shape than most places i saw. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. They make you feel very welcome right away and go the extra mile. The food is amazing and you have plenty of options to choose from. You need to make dinner reservations every day, which was a bit annoying and the hours could have been a little better. Breakfast 7-10, lunch 12:30-2:30 and dinner 7-9. The beach there is very nice and they have plenty of (free) water sports to do. The rooms are nice, but i wouldn't pay for the ocean-view again. We saw a tree, not the water. The AC in the rooms works very well, which is essential with the heat and humidity there. They have free internet access in their business office, which is great, although it wasn't always easy to get a computer. The pools are small, but nice and the cove bar is great. If you are going to Barbados i would highly recommend Crystal Cove.
“Would return”
I loved everything about the hotel except the dining.. the sun comes up early (4:30am dependent on the time of year) and they aren't ready to serve breakfast until 8am and it is a buffet. The coffee was good but occasionally the machine was out and hadn't been attended to. The formal dining is a buffet.
